Everything about our stay was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Our room was very large and clean, complimentary snacks were much appreciated. The bathroom was clean - perhaps a bit tight on space - but travel amenities were thoughtfully selected and useful (L’Occtaine products). Hotel location is excellant. Note: you are very close to the Jonker Night Market, so if you need absolute quiet for a good night sleep, this may be a factor for you to consider. Breakfast was perhaps the only place where I felt things were not on the same standard as the rest of the hotel, don’t get me wrong, it was absolutely adequate and service was excellant. I did enjoy the roti canal and the latte that I ordered, but my husband’s french toast was lack luster and the other offering were average. Overall however, this hotel has restored my faith in Malaysian hotels, simply outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The Liu Men is a wonderful historic hotel. My room was huge and amazing. The breakfast buffet was incredible. It is right next to the street market as well.

Stylish and attentive boutique hotel

The hotel was a lovely and comfortable hotel. Stylish and great breakfast. The beds and linen were super comfy and the staff attentive. The turn down service was a nice addition and so were the complimentary treats. If I had to make one complaint, it would be the windows to our room which seemed a bit small. But since we spent most of our days sightseeing anyway, that wasn’t a huge issue. The location was convenient and yet not overly central which was great.

So happy we stayed here!

We had a wonderful stay at Liu Men Hotel Melaka. The deco is so…nice. Love the Hang Tuah room with the high ceiling and we were so lucky to be given the room with the garden deck. The staffs at the reception, Lulu and Ray are lovely and so are the other staffs too eg breakfast area etc. The beddings and pillows are very comfortable. We love the Loccitane toiletries and thank you for the complimentary snacks and souvenir. We would love to stay again.

Brilliant on all counts

From the reserved parking outside the front door (on a very busy narrow street) in order to offload luggage, to the cool interior, to the warm reception everything was perfect. (not something I say often, if at all). We had the last room available and I would come back in a heartbeat. I could not fault anything. Comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom (love the tiles) good size shower, delightful breakfast spread, very friendly staff, great location, beautifully decorated.

Everything perfect !

Fantastic service , great hospitality, very good breakfast. The staffs took time and efforts to remember our names despite a short stay. Ray was extremely professiona. All the staffs whom I cannot remember their names are all extremely helpful ! Bed was so comfy that I wish I stayed longer. Breakfast was such a joy. The hainan chicken rice was one of the best I eaten. Better than any of the chicken rice shop in jonker street itself.Roti Canai was so good that we had it at every breakfast ! We will be back for more !
