This has been terrible experience and I actually left hotel soon after check in. First they did not find my booking and it took them long time to find room. When I went into room, it was all dirty and uncleaned. There were 14 empty water bottles, all trash , soap used, no towel, shower broken, no soap. One bed was used. I went to reception but there was no one and when I called no one took phone . I also informed Expedia and they also could not reach hotel. I left hotel on 28th in evening . No one were in the reception and you have to go for the other hotel to tell that you have arrived, then someone will come to check you in. All other things are good compared to the price

The propriety was ok for the money you pay. The good thing they have shuttle bus every 30min to take you to the Haram. Bathroom is old.

Excellent First Stay at Makarem Al Shorofat!
We booked this hotel as part of the 'Re-deemed Night' loyalty program at Hotels.com and definitely got great value for money. The Manager (Mr Adham Shareef) looked after us very well by allowing us an early check-in, which even included complimentary buffet breakfast! Similarly on leaving day, we were also given a late check-out. The room itself was of a decent size, suitably decorated and had good internet. In our opinion though, the best part of this hotel is that breakfast (which was very tasty and varied), and the 24 hour shuttle service is provided at their main 5 star hotel (Makarem Umm al-Qurra) right in front of this building. So, you can enjoy some 5* facilities at economy price. For areas to improve, we suggest that they replace the bed mattress as it was a little too firm to comfortably sleep on. Also, in the bathroom the drain needs unblocking and towel hangers were loose and requires fixing.

This is a brand new property right behind the 5-Star Makarem Makkah. The property is still nice and the owner chose quality in everything which was used to build the hotel. The problem seems to be that the builder did a terrible job of constructing it. I was alone in room 601. Ver clean, new room with three beds. The paint job is noticeably sloppy towards the edges, bathroom water gathers on the floor after every shower and does not go towards the drain, you have to use the big squeegee to clean the floor after every shower. The new door wood paneling was severely damaged towards the bottom due to water. Some tiles on the shower wall and floor were new, but broken into pieces due to the nails underneath protruding from the wood. Shuttle service is awesome and takes 5 minutes to the Haram.

Ny allez surtout Jai paye lhotel via hitel.com et le réceptionniste ma refuse lentree malgré le fait que je lui ai montré la facture de reservation regle avec les dates indiquées. Ils se sont obstinés à me refuser l'entrée. Apres les avoir menacé de contacter la police, ils mont propose un hotel dans une autre adresse tres eloigne de lhotel dorigine, en m'y rendant surprise, lhotelier netait pas au courant et ma refuse lentree. Suite à cela jai reserve un hotel via booking qui est beaucoup plus serieux que hotel.com dont jettends toujours des explications...
