Clean. The problem is that there was nobody at the reception in the evening when I arrived around 6.3pm and my phone could not connect so I had to ask people to call for me. The location is very pleasant and safe, in a residential area. It is short (5-minute) enjoyable walk to the bus stop. Public transportation is excellent, so all of Mainz is easily accessible. Additionally it is only a 10-minute walk to the Gutenberg university. The hotel is rather short staffed, but they work very hard to ensure that you have what you need. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, a breakfast is provided every day (for additional cost), and they give contact information in case any problems arise when they are not on site in the evening (which didn't happen during my visit). I prearranged my arrival as instructed, so I knew what to expect and I had no trouble getting entry when I first arrived. Die Lage ist gut. Der Universitätscampus und das Universitätsklinikum sind jeweils etwa 10 Gehminuten bzw. 4 Autominuten entfernt. Der Hauptbahnhof ist etwa 10-12 Autominuten entfernt.
