The property is excellent located just of the hwy and next to restaurants and ev charging stations. It is kind of dated and the bathroom is definitely old. Both the A/C and the little fridge were working but were very noisy. The breakfast was good, but lacking fruits and vegetables options.

Stayed here after hiking some of the high peaks. Perfect location close to the mountains and the town of Saranac.

Lake view was amazing! They have kayaks there on site to use, no charge ! My daughter-in-law & granddaughter used one and loved it being out there on the lake! Our room was a room that you expect when you are in the mountains, it was like a cabin, beds , bathroom , we had air conditioning and heat , gets chilly at night lol…. Staff was on site and Lobby was open to check in, not sure why all the bad reviews … when your up in Lake Placid all you need is the room to sleep there was so much to do ! If your looking for luxury go somewhere else if your looking to experience a real feeling of being in the mountains this is the place!
