"It was a great house. If you are traveling with a tow vehicle and trailer, the driveway isn’t trailer friendly. The house is listed as 3 bedrooms, but the one downstairs isn’t private and doesn’t have any blinds or curtains.Our group enjoyed our stay and the views from the property. The house was clean. There was beautiful views of the water with sunrise and sunset."

"This was an amazing stay. The cabin and bunkhouse were very clean and you can tell the host takes a lot of pride in the property. The host was very friendly and gave us a little tour of the property. We did have 2 toddlers with us and the houses were pretty child friendly. We will definitely be staying again."

"This cabin was absolutely beautiful and everything we wanted plus more! Traveling back from Florida it was a nice little getaway to wind down the rest of our vacation week before going back home. It was secluded, private and quiet even with it being on the main road. The Covered porch made it nice to sit and watch the river. Tell city isn’t to far away… we went and got groceries and disappeared for 3 days. It has everything you need to cook and really makes it convenient. We will definitely be back, and this cabin in derby really was a little slice of heaven!"

Lakeside Cabin Near Holiday World Perfect for Families & Friends

"The reviews are spot on and the pictures do not do this place justice! I booked this as a little weekend get away for myself, my husband and my two boys. The end goal was to have as much fun as possible at Holiday World — the place we stayed didn’t really matter as long as it was clean. Surprise! We only did ONE day at Holiday World (which was amazing — blew Kings Island out of the water) and the rest of our time was spent enjoying the amenities of the cabin. Perfect amount of space for us four. The lakes were amazing and lake swimming/fishing with Dad will totally be a new core memory for the boys. We were catching fish within five minutes of casting! Only two negatives were that there were wasps/nests at one of the docks (this is now also a core memory for my kids, Mom/Step Mom counter attacking the wasps!) I’m sure this will be taken care of though and should be expected — you are in the woods! The other negative has nothing to do with the cabin and more to do with location — good food is hard to comeby out in the middle of nowhere. This is an easy fix — bring your own goodies! There is a grill and a full CLEAN kitchen with well stocked plates/cookware.We will most certainly be back for another stay!"

"Beautiful! Everything we needed for a weekend away to unwind but enough to keep our 4 year old busy. It was cozy, clean, and equipped for meals. The beds were comfortable and the scenery unbeatable. Great location and wonderful hosts! Bonus- The Disney DVDs provided welcome unwind time before bed!"
