Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed. Breakfast excellent! Nice and friendly staff in breakfast area. Reception was responsive and attentive. Walking distance to Plaza Mayor and surrounding areas. Feel safe in the neighborhood.

Nice central location! Room was clean, but hot! We had the heat completely turned down but it was still almost 75 degrees in the room- made sleeping difficult. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful.

Centrally placed. Nearby square a bit rough but hotel is quiet, well-run and would stay again. Breakfast coffee machines overworked and barely coping.

The hotel is okay - nothing special but nothing much to complain about. The room was very small but we expected as much. The air conditioning in the room did not work well - we frequently propped open the door to let the cooler air from the hallway in. If the price had been reasonable, we would have considered this a good enough value. But the price was very high (as were all hotels that weekend, as the city was busy with some conferences), and we expected better.

We had an unscheduled stay in Madrid due to a flight emergency landing - the staff couldn't have been more helpful and took great care of us in what could have been a trying time!

Best hotel in Madrid! So close to everything - we either walked everywhere or took the metro to places further away. The room was huge for two people.

Good location close to Plaza Mayor, not sure but it looks the hotel have rooms for hotel.com or expidia only with a bad view, my was with a parking view entrance not even the street, normally I don’t care I used to this because I booked from hotel.com and if everything else is ok,but this time the AC didn’t work properly, the temperature didn’t go down the whole night, it was like a fan.(warm) I believe I pay to much for the place.

We stayed there a few days just before the pandemic (March 2020) and the place does look a bit more down-at-the-heels as of March 2023. But their major problem is breakfast. They cannot accommodate their clients. I'd strongly recommend getting another coffee machine or two. It might not solve all problems but it would make a huge difference in guests' PERCEPTIONS. The only other little nit is closet lights that keep going on when you don't want them. Really annoying. Closet sliding doors are hard to manage but that's not the full story behind the lights and not nearly as annoying.

Super close walking distance to everything we wanted to see and the bed was amazingly comfortable. When we checked in however we were given keys to a room and when we went there was someone else already staying in the room. Our keys then did not work on our door the second day. We were also never told that after certain hours our keys wouldn’t open the front door. They do have staff 24/7 at the front but it would have been nice to know this ahead of staying out late and trying to get it late at night. Overall good stay but the key situation and communication about the hours for coming in/buzzing in could be improved.

Disappointing. Not a 4 Star Experience.
The description of the hotel is misleading. It states there is a bar/lounge and coffee shop. It had none of these. Apparently they haven’t reopened after Covid. Ordinarily this wouldn’t be a problem, however, as we were travelling with friends, a comfortable meeting place within the hotel prior to trips out was important to us. Reception staff were efficient but not especially welcoming or friendly. The room had an inside view of air-conditioning units and weeds. Maybe we were given these rooms as we didn’t book direct with the hotel but as a Hotels.com Silver/gold member I expected a little more. On the positive side, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was large. We have stayed in Madrid many times and have never been disappointed with the hotels before. We expected a 4 Star experience, I believe we paid for that but we didn’t receive it.

First time in Spain and the hotel did not disappoint. It’s centrally located to all tourists sites, and the staff were very helpful.
