The tenant expressly declares that this is not their habitual or permanent residence, and therefore, registration at this address is not permitted. The apartment is centrally located. It has been recently renovated and refurbished. The decor is clean, modern, fresh, and relaxing. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, ceramic hob, and microwave-oven combination. The living and dining areas are spacious and bright, with enough seating for everyone. The apartment has two bedrooms and one modern bathroom complete with a shower and screen. The balcony doors and windows are new, including electric roller shutters to reduce noise and light, and air conditioning and heating units in each space. Other highlights Please observe the house rules and respect the neighbors' sleep. Parties of any kind are prohibited. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment. Pets are not allowed unless expressly agreed upon with the landlord. Out of respect for the community, loud noise is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM. Likewise, parties, events, and large gatherings are prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and contract, in addition to possible intervention by the competent authorities. I wanted to leave a 1 star rating because I wouldn't stay here again, but our stay was good except for the one major issue. The good: - Great location, less than 15 minutes to most major sites - Close to the blue metro line, but super helpful really - The host, Hans, is extremely responsive, one of the best hosts I've experienced - The beds and bed linens are surprisingly comfortable - Kitchen well stocked - Has a washing machine - So close to grocery stores and several cafes that are open early The Bad: - Limited hot water. This is the deal breaker for me. I enjoy a really hot shower but a quick one, I average 7 to 9 minutes with shampoo and conditioner. My family are all night showerers. After a long day of sightseeing, we value being able to wash the day off before going to bed. I traveled here with my 3 kids and after seeing the note about limited hot water, my first child was limited to a 5 min shower. The second took a stupidly short 45 second shower (boy, of course) and my third waited 30 minutes before getting in only to run out after a few minutes. In all, less than 10 minutes of water. Really disappointing but could he fixed with a tank less. - What can not be fixed is the tiny bathroom. El departamento es muy cómodo y bien equipado. Está cerca de los lugares más destacados de Madrid, la Plaza Mayor, el Mercado San Miguel y otros tantos existentes en la bella Madrid. Caminando se puede llegar al Paseo del Prado, la Gran Vía, la Catedral de la Almudena y el Palacio Real, el Rastro. La única contra es que la plaza Tirso de Molina es muy ruidosa en la noche. Mucha gente transitando y hablando fuerte lo que hace dificultoso el descanso nocturno. Por lo demás, todo de diez. ##### laura m. Small apartment, perfect size for us (2 small kids and a couple). Very close to the centre of the city, about 10 min walk to puerta del sol. Metro station (train) just across the building, which is convenient if planing to use the Metro. Area is very noisy, 24/7, earplugs did not help. Bathroom did not have any shampoo and kids bedroom blackout was broken. Informed host but couldn’t do anything about it. ##### Erika M. The were so accommodating to us. Valentina explained everything about the property. The house was delightful. Locations was great. Neat trains and bus stops. Tons of restaurants, bars and shops in every direction. One piece of advise. If you like lots of QUITE when you are sleeping his may not be for you regarding location. Well appointed apartment. We stay for 4 nights. Great location. Grocery stores next door. Everything you need. My only complaint was that the sheets did not fit the bed so I woke up every few hours sleeping on the bare mattress. Other reviews complained about the street noise and it was definitely very raucous both Friday and Saturday evening. But with earplugs I had no problem sleeping. Very clean and safe.
