The rooms and bathrooms were clean, which I really appreciated. However, I wish the bathrooms were not shared, as having a private bathroom would make the stay more comfortable. It was also a little difficult to find the hotel. A larger or more visible sign would definitely help guests locate it more easily. One thing that made me feel a little uncomfortable was that all the doors are opened using a phone. It was scary to think about losing my phone or having the battery die, since I would then potentially be unable to access my room. Having an alternative way to access the doors, such as a key card or backup code, would provide much more peace of mind.

I was a little hesitant at first because of the reviews that have been posted. But for the price you could not beat the location, as well as for the price you could not be having your own private room in the city center. The shared bathroom wasn’t an issue either because there were multiple bathrooms throughout the Building. I would most definitely stay here anytime I came to Madrid. If quiet sleeping is a must for you I would say that might be your only issue, but I can sleep through almost anything.

It’s OK, central, clean and safe. It is a stripped down ‘hotel’ with only a bed. It is comfortable to stay the night but do not expect anything else. No AC so it gets warm and I can imagine cold in the winter. However, the use of online check in and digital key can be a nightmare. I was locked out since the link did not work. Luckily there was a cleaner to help.

Spent 45 min doing the auto-check-in. Be prepared to have alot of batteries for your smart phone and have eaten a good meal beforehand. Have a heavy luagage and on the second floor? then make sure you are strong. This is not for old people, or people who seek some comfort.

This place is a joke. Bad experience, I would never come here again, and would recommend others to stay away. It is very complicated and time-consuming to check in, they persist in mailing in Spanish, but not every guest speaks that. The room is filled with stuff that resembles furniture, but nothing really works. There’s not even a place to hang a wet towel. You have to put your stuff on the floor. The showers are not well installed. The digital panel on the phone is a cause of stress all day, because if your phone dies or if you loose it, there is no way to get back in your room. I had to go to the police, to find help with a problem, a simple receptionist could have solved. There is no way to contact any staff. This place made me unhappy and almost ruined my trip to Madrid. Do not waste your money here.
