The sauna and hot tub were not operational and haven’t been for quite a while. Jenna the front desk operator was fabulous, courteous, and patient as it was graduation weekend for the University of Wisconsin. Rooms were clean.

The property is extremely OLD. Needs major renovation. 3rd floor smelled as if I were in a restaurant and had ordered 7 curry plates. Hallway smelled AWFUL.

The breakfast was very limited, coffee was not great. Staff living in the hotel and can be heard at odd hours of the morning 1-5 am banging around and just being very disruptive. Hotel was not busy first night but they ran out of pillows. Front doors would be a lot better if they were automatic sliding doors instead of push/pull open when arms are full with luggage also no hadicap button for the doors. The hotel towels were probably the smallest i've ever seen. The hottub jets were not working and they did say they have not been working for over a year and they have been trying to fix but no luck. Also housekeeping knocked on the door more then 3 hrs before check out time even though the do not disturb sign was on the door.

For the price it was a great stay clean room nice staff and great if not playing to use hot tub it didn’t work properly but The pool was nice and warm and pool are was a little old.

The employee who checked us in was nice. The pool was nice and warm and clean, as was the hot tub, but the sauna was shut down. The floor of the pool area could use a resurfacing. The breakfast was small in variety, but good enough to get us started. My daughter and I wanted to swim in the pool before we left, so we headed downstairs at 8:15 (pool was supposed to be open at 8), but the front desk clerk hadn't opened the pool yet. In fact, there was no sign of anyone anywhere near the front desk. That was very disappointing. The screen in our window was busted, and the tub in the bathroom is in severe need of cleaning and new grout. As someone stated in another review, the hotel did, in fact, smell of marijuana, which was not pleasant. The outside door is locked at all times, and the card reader didn't work, so we had to prop the door open just to get back in the building.

This was probably the worst property we have stayed at in a LONG time. Pool area floor paint was peeling No one had washed the floor. Half lights were out in the pool area. In room carpet dirty hooks falling off, Kleenex holder falling off. Shower handle about came off in my hand. “Breakfast was slim continental “

Staff was very nice and friendly. Room was surface cleaned, but sheets were dirty, shower head was broken. Overall place was dated and could use a significant uplift. Would not stay at again.

It seems like water pool and water in the hot tub has not changed for a long time. Only one employee that run the whole building. Therefore, it makes the services kinda slow.
