Girlfriends reunion

Wonderful place to stay, clean, great location, well furnished and equipped. I am from Madison and my friends love to go up from Louisville for a weekend. There were four couples and we all loved the accommodations. Kelly responded back to my questions quickly and allowed us to check in early. Would recommend and plan to return.

Wonderful Stay
This is a wonderfully renovated building in a great location. Kelly was very helpful with details, recommendations and other information. The property was very clean and had a wonderful home-like feeling. It was perfect for a reunion of my wife’s siblings. I highly recommend it.

The home was beautiful, nicely decorated and comfortable. We liked being near the river and close to town. The numbers to unlock the door was not included in the email, however the owner answered the phone quickly and we were able to enter the property. I would recommend this property

Thank you for staying at General's Quarters. We email guests with the door code the morning of check-in. I went back to see if for any reason that email didn't automatically send, since that is how it is set up. It appears the email was sent as expected. The code was in the email. Beautifully appointed! Great supply of dishes, pots/pans, linens, personal items, EVERYTHING! Heating system in the basement was wonky; couldn't get it out of Hard Lock. Good lighting throughout. Just what we needed!!!!

Fabulous Family Getaway
We had such a wonderful time in Madison! We absolutely loved our stay at the General's Quarters and did not want to leave this beautiful place!! Everything about this Townhome was simply amazing and over the top!! The decor is so beautiful, bedrooms and living areas were so spacious and well laid out. Our host was so easy to communicate with and was so nice to let us have early check in and late check out. She had everything there that you would ever need and more. We loved that she had a Keurig machine and also supplied a large variety of K cups, tea, creamer and sugar. She also leaves a few snacks on the counter for your arrival. The patio area, with a view of the river, was so beautiful and peaceful. This townhome was simply stunning and we can't wait to come back!

Generals Quarters was perfect for our group. The location is great, walking distance to Main Street with all the shops and restaurants. Kitchen was stocked, house was clean and the host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

Our family (3 couples + 1 toddler) had a great time in Madison and General's Quarters was the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed the history of the beautifully restored house and the location was great for the activities we had planned (Clifty Falls State Park, Ohio River scenery, walk to downtown, kids' playground, relaxing on the deck, etc). Kelly was a great host and we hope to return.

Amazing Girlfriends weekend
The house so was so adorable. There was a basket of welcome treats when we arrived. The location of the house was perfect to walk everywhere. We all agreed when we come back for a visit we will definitely stay here again. We had a group form MI, OH and IN and we all had an amazing time.

The home is as listed and the host is amazing. She even suggested events/things that she would arrange for us and we did a couple of them. They were awesome. We especially appreciated the extension cord in the bedrooms so we could charge phones, sleep machine, etc. We could have walked to Main Street but we didn't but parking was easily available. Very close to the river and park to enjoy time there. Definitely book.

Basket of welcome snacks, charging station for all types of phones, brochures for the area - they really thought of everything. Extremely good communication and easy check-in and check-out. My only complaint is that the downstairs bedroom bed sags in the center, which was very uncomfortable for my husband and me. It should be noted, too, that the other basement bedroom has no door on it. Really enjoyed our stay - extremely clean and great location!

What a great stay we had at the General’s Quarters! A spacious and well decorated house with everything you could need! The owners were easy to communicate with and have provided so many things to make your stay easy… toiletries, kitchen items, hair dryer, lots of tv options. Beds were comfy, lots of blankets, fluffy towels, and we loved the individual room AC controls! Perfect walking location to all the historic sites, shopping, and restaurants. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again!

We had 3 couples visit Madison for the weekend. This was a great place to stay. Very comfortable accommodations within walking distance to town. There are 2 identical rentals adjacent to each other, so you could have 8 bedrooms total if you rented both.

Great place and great location
This was a great place to stay, the house was clean and updated. The rooms are large and beds were great. Kelly was in constant communication with us and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed here for the Oaks and Derby race and it worked out great for our group of 6. I would definitely stay here again. Madison is a great town and I could see us coming back to visit and staying here for sure. Lastly the location is great, it’s very safe and you can walk to Main Street and to the river.

This was a great property that fit our needs perfectly. Very clean and comfortable and location was great for access to all of the downtown activities.
