The hotel is in a very convenient location for exploration on foot around town. The owner was very helpful. The rooms are well maintained.
The only suggestion that I would make relates to the parking area. The plants (i.e. tree and grasses) in the parking area made it a little tricky to park.

I stayed for three nights in May while I explored the Broken Hill area. The Lodge Outback suited me perfectly. I was picked up at the train station and delivered to the airport, free of charge. The staff was extremely helpful and positive. The room was large, and, except when guests left in the early morning, quiet.

I've been in Australia for a year and this hostel/lodging was the best place I"ve stayed when considering the cost and value. The staff were wonderful, the rooms simple but clean, the kitchen facilities spotless and well organized and the pool was lovely. The shared bathroom facilities were spotless and shiny new!
