The owners are lovely and helpful in person and replied to our messages very quickly before we came. The accommodation is very clean and really cosy, dog friendly being a plus. "What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home."

"When we arrived, they had no record of our booking. We were supposed to be on a B&B package but the kitchen wasn't open and we couldn't even have a cup of tea as they said the kettle was broken!!! Eventually booked somewhere else which was great. Contacted hotels.com and they couldn't even contact the hotel by phone. All in all, and absolute shame!! We'll obviously never book again to stay there? "
