Nestled in the heart of Lutsen, this charming 3-bedroom cabin offers the perfect escape for your next vacation. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by the warm glow of the fireplace, inviting you to cozy up and unwind. The fully stocked kitchen complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, outdoor gas grill and all the necessary appliances allows you to easily prepare delicious meals to enjoy at the dining table. Enjoy our complementary bottle of wine and 2 souvenir wine glasses as our welcome gift.

Spend your days exploring the nearby Superior National Forest, just a short walk away, or venture to the North Shore Winery for a taste of the local flavors. When you're not out adventuring, you can chill in the great room overlooking Lake Superior, identify the many birds at the feeders, stream a movie, challenge your friends to a game night with the selection of games and books provided, try our scavenger hunt, take a sauna, design and color a rock and add it to our huge art collection or take a long soak in our claw foot tub. Plenty of activities to keep everyone in your group happy and involved.

The Lutsen Lookout was the perfect space for our group. This was our second stay here and there is a reason we are repeat guests. The cabin is in the perfect location - close to the ski hill, North Shore Winery and everything wonderful that Lutsen has to offer. The space is perfectly comfy, cozy and warm and just a beautiful place to relax with friends and family. The view of Lake Superior on a clear day is breathtaking! The hosts are great communicators and truly provide everything you could need for a perfect Lutsen getaway. Thank you for having us!

The Lutsen Lookout was an absolutely fabulous place for our family of six to stay during the week between Christmas and New Year’s. The home was cozy, welcoming, and full of charm, and it was especially fun for our young boys to explore every corner. It truly felt like a winter getaway made for families.Todd was incredibly responsive and accommodating—he went above and beyond by helping us check in two hours early during a snowstorm, which made a stressful travel day so much easier. We were extremely grateful for his kindness and flexibility.The property had everything we could possibly need, making our stay comfortable and relaxing from start to finish. We made so many wonderful memories here and couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience. Thank you for such a great stay—we will absolutely be back!

North woods charm

This property is obviously well loved. The little touches all around both inside and out made us feel welcome. My grandson loved his “bear” bedroom and would love to come back and stay in the “moose bedroom “The location is perfect for hiking and is close to Lutsen and Grand Marais.

Lutsen Lookout is fantastic

Wonderful and unique home and property. Easy to get to Lutsen Mountains for our ski trip. Lutsen Lookout is very well appointed. Something to enjoy for all ages. Very close to HWY 61 to access all that the Lake Superior shore has to offer and a quick drive to shops and restaurants in Grand Marais and surrounding towns. Hosts are very responsive and welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

First of all - pics do not do this property justice - it is just lovely! Well thought out appointments, with both easy & thorough instructions for everything. Already missing my sunrise over Lk Superior yoga sessions. Folks skiing - ride to the hill was maybe 5 min. Nice big dining room table for dinners and family games. We are so happy to have found!

Perfect Stay

Lutsen Lookout provided the perfect accommodations for our family trip. It was very clean and comfortable with plenty of seating and sleeping areas for our family of seven. During the day we admired the beautiful scenery in the surrounding area and in the evening we were treated with dark skies filled with bright stars. On our final evening the northern lights were on display. It really was a perfect stay.

Fantastic Stay!

We were so very impressed with this lovely home and it's gorgeous location. The owners thought of everything. The generous sized rooms, open floor plan with huge windows overlooking the secluded wooded property, and numerous seating areas made for a truly enjoyable stay. Cribbage, cards, family & friends meals at the large dining table, well-appointed kitchen and so much more made this visit to the North Shore one of our favorites. I couldn't have asked for anything more!
