In the winter, it is a good starting point to explore the Obesaxen-Mundaun-Val Lumnezia winter sports resort with 120 km of slopes and 17 lifts, starting in the neighbouring village. In summer you can relax on the small lake "Davos-Munts" or go on beautiful hikes in the surrounding mountain ranges. The village is well served by public transport, from Zurich there are connections every hour, from Ilanz go postal buses until the early evening hours. Our apartment is at ground level with unobstructed view of the opposite mountains. Outdoor breakfast on the terrace is often possible already in the spring and until late in the autumn. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and another one with twin beds. In addition, there is a living and dining room with adjoined kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with 2 elements, pressure cooker, coffee maker, etc. The living room area features TV and radio. The apartment is part of the small holiday resort La Muota which includes a children's playground and a cozy hut for grilling. Der Backofen war klein aber funktional. Zunächst gab es nur das Problem an den Schlüssel zu gelangen, denn leider hatten wir im Vorfeld keine Telefonnummer erhalten, unter der wir die Schlüsselübergabe vereinbaren konnten, und vor Ort war keine Information dazu verfügbar. Ohne das Handy meines Sohnes wären wir aufgschmissen gewesen, denn wir benötigten die Unterstützung von FeWo-direkt um Kontakt zu einer sehr netten Schweizerin herzustellen, die uns dann auch prompt den Schlüssel zur Wohnung bereitstellte. Auch die Abgabestelle des Schlüssels hatte sich zwischenzeitlich geändert. Vom Wohnzimmer aus hat es einen direkten Ausgang zu einem schönen Sitzplatz mit Bergsicht und keinen Verkehr. Im Dorfladen findet man alles, was man für den täglichen Gebraucht nötig hat. Wir waren eine Woche zum Skifahren mit unseren Kindern in Lumbrein / Obersaxen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in der gepflegten, gut ausgestatteten, sehr praktisch eingerichteten und gemütlichen Wohnung. Der Blick vom großen Esstisch auf die gegenüberliegende Talseite und Berge ist wunderbar, die Ruhe sowieso. Nur eine Spülmaschine haben wir manches Mal vermisst in der zwar kleinen, aber bemerkenswert praktisch gestalteten Küchenzeile. Sonst fehlte es an nichts. Ski und Skischuhe lassen sich unmittelbar vor der Wohnung sehr bequem unterbringen. Die Haltestelle des Postbusses, der zum Skigebiet fährt, ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Wohnung aus zu erreichen. ##### Michael M. Die Wohnung befand sich bei unserer Anreise in einem sehr sauberen Zustand und ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Die Gegend eignet sich im Sommer super zum Wandern und für Mountainbike-Touren, besonders zu empfehlen sind auch Lenzerheide und Davos (ca. 1,5 Std. Autofahrt). Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die leider etwas durchgelegene und nicht so komfortable Matratze im Schlafzimmer. Die Lage ist etwas entlegen, aber dafür bekommt man eine sehr schöne Aussicht und viel Ruhe. Ein kleines Highlight ist auch der Sternenhimmel, den Stadtbewohner wie wir, so leider nicht zu sehen bekommen. Alles in Allem hatten wir einen super Aufenthalt. ##### Christopher W.
