« magnifique hotel dans un ville passionnante d histoire »

« The hotel is under renovation so temporary inconvenience but strong paint smell for sensitive people . Staff was courteous. Ok for short stay »

« The stay had a few disappointing aspects. The room had a persistent bad smell due to poor ventilation, which made it uncomfortable at times. Room service was also quite slow — even for basic requests, we had to call two or three times before receiving any assistance. « The staff in the Taj Club and the breakfast restaurant Machan were outstanding. The hotel had some bugs to be worked out still (our shower needed some maintenance to increase the pressure) but staff got it sorted out right away. »

« Great feeling with the renovation and upgrades. I am pleasantly surprised. Food was really great. It felt nice returning to Lucknow and stay at the Clarks because of our past shared history with the town. Clarks was then the only star feeling in a small town steeped in its own culture, time and moods. »

« Staff was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are clean and neat, hot water is near perfect. Hallways carpet must be replaced very old and not clean enough. »

« Good hotel. I’ve been coming to this hotel for the past three years and it’s keeping its good quality and standards. However I had a room near the lift which are quite noisy and I had asked my room to be changed but unfortunately my request was not processed in due time and I got busy with my meetings and no one got back to me. Also the buffet is nice, but it lacks of innovation as every evening it used to be more or less the same food. »
