Welcome to The Chill Spot, your ideal short-term island rental! This 2-bed, 2-bath home offers a quiet, relaxing and comfortable retreat for your vacation.
The Chill Spot is nestled in the gated community of Oceanpointe in between Montego Bay and Negril. It is a conveniently situated just across the street from the beach. Our house features two spacious bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to provide a peaceful sanctuary. Each bedroom comes with comfortable beds, cozy linens, and ample storage space for your belongings. With two bathrooms, getting ready in the morning or winding down in the evening will be a breeze.
The living area is a perfect blend of comfort and style, with a cozy sofa, armchairs, and a flat-screen TV for your entertainment. Adjacent to the living area is a fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances, cookware, and utensils. Host was very nice and always there for support on the booking and assisting true the entree. Cleanness is a bit lacking. Overall it was a nice place.

#### No hot water
Although everything was good but there was no hot water to shower, or properly wash dishes with hot water to help kill germs. I come to find out that the water supply is powered by solar energy and is apparently on all homes in this area. It was raining and gloomy majority of my stay and only had little warm water to shower with one day of the 4 nights i spent there. There was no backup to the solar powered heated water in order to have hot water even when the sun is not shining bright and hot for the solar power to work properly. I was very disappointed for this was not my 1st time saying in that area and i travel to Jamaica very regularly. Now that i know what i know about how the hot water works i will not be staying in that area or spending my hard earned money there when i visit Jamaica. Outside of that the neighborhood is quiet, beautiful and a nice place to visit but i need hot working water.
