The niu Rig greets you right when you walk out from the main train station. It could not be easier or more convenient, and is quiet on top of it. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The only drawbacks are the hard beds, which I often encounter in less expensive hotels, and the lack of a table at which to sit and a place to put away clothing--again typical of less expensive hotels. I nevertheless recommend it.

Reserved a supreme room got a noisy closet with a tiny shower. Elevator that could only hold 2 people. Our semiconductor supreme room was a servants chamber under a roof with a view of dirty rooftops with lots of doves. No AC, lots of road noise. Nothing supreme about it.

Friendly staff and new, clean rooms. A little city noise outside, but not too loud. Right across the street from the train station, so super-easy for travelers while still in a nice neighborhood.

Very practical location right across from the train station and then a pretty easy walk into the remarkable and historic town center. I had a small room but it was comfortable and well designed. Plenty of heat and hot water on a very cold winter night. Good wifi. Comfortable twin bed. Very good value. No complaints.

We had paid extra for a superior room and were told that it was one. The room was cramped with less room than that featured in the photo. It looked the same size as most on the fire evacuation plan. The rooms directly below ours had oriel windows and would have been larger. We happened to have been there in an exceptionally hot August so we noticed the lack of air conditioning.

Niu stay August 2022
Great service and location - only problem is no air conditioning in the room and we visited when even the North of Germany was 35 degrees plus. But the hotel provided us with alternative accomodation options and a fan. Only con is its opposite the railway station so noisy if window open.

Accomodation close to train station.
Unfortunately the room at niu Rig was much smaller than expected and some furniture choice made it even narrower. King or queen beds are not available at this hotels which is not the best choice in terms of comfort. The position is ok, next to the train station with the city centre at walkable distance. Service/staff is average. probably this kind of hotel fits better business than leisure travels.

Hotel was conveniently located by the train station and the old part of the city. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. The rooms were a bit small, but updated and nice.

Nice new and modern hotel
I wanted a hotel near the train station and the location is perfect. 15 minute walk into the city center. Very nice and very new hotel in a marine themed design, very nice. My room had no view at all (backyard) which I did not mind for one night, for a longer stay I would have asked to change rooms. Check in stuff could have been friendlier and I was a bit shocked to see that groups without masks (it's covid time) were gathering in the lobby and the stuff did not say anything. Again, I stayed for one night and was in and out. I would book the hotel again.

Very Hot Room
The hotel was very nice and the rooms are new and modern. I would recommend this hotel to anyone under normal circumstances. When we stayed however it was very hot and there is no air-con in the rooms. Because of this we had to open the windows at night. As we were in room 116, which over looked the train station and the main road, it was very noisy even in the early hours.

Good modern hotel close to station
Literally opposite the station. Very modern, clean hotel, extremely polite and professional staff. Had a really comfortable night stay here. If I needed to be in Lubeck again I would definitely stay here.

Im niu Rig Hotel fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Unser Zimmer war sauber und bot uns ausreichend Platz für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Im Endeffekt empfanden wir vor allem das Badezimmer als sehr klein und den Einstieg zur Dusche etwas verwinkelt. Außerdem schauten wir aus unserem Fenster in den Innenhof bzw. auf das nächste Gebäude, das war nicht sehr charmant, jedoch auch nicht großartig störend. Insgesamt gefiel uns der Aufenthalt sehr und die Nähe zum Bahnhof kam uns sehr gelegen. Für den Weg in die Stadt muss man zu Fuß schon ein paar Gehminuten einplanen.

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Hauptbahnhof, was auch sehr praktisch ist. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, moder, ziemlich groß und ruhig. Das Frühtück war ganz ok, aber nichts besonderes im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Leider ist der Fahrstuhl prlötzlich kaputt gegangen und wir sollten zur 4.Etage zu Fuß laufen,was auch anstrengend war. Es wäre mit Gepäck besonders schwierig erreichbar. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm ,das Preis-Leistung-Verhätlnis ist super und ich werde das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Freundlicher Empfang, saubere Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Direkt neben dem Lübecker Hauptbahnhof und dem Busbahnhof. Innenstadt in 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Musik- und Kongresshalle etwa 10 min zu Fuß entfernt.

Schönes Hotel, gute Lage
Ich mochte das Hotel sehr. Es hat eine super Lage direkt am Bahnhof, war dennoch recht ruhig. Zimmer sind schön gestaltet, es gibt verschiedene Kissen. Das einzige kleine Manko war, dass wir ein wenig später einchecken konnten. Nach einer längeren Anreise wäre das schön gewesen. Das Houskeeping war dann erst ca. 15:15 Uhr fertig.

Skuffende til prisen.
Adgangen til det vores værelse var kantet og bøvlet med kufferter og børn. Elevatoren var lille og det sidste stykke var på trappe. Der var intet garderobeskab i værelset ! Bruserstangen sad løs.
