We loved our stay at this beautiful rural property. It felt completely removed from the city, while being less than an hour away for us. The cabins are surrounded by trees so it feels completely private and secluded. The host was welcoming and friendly, and the cabins are well-appointed and set up for use. The layout of bedrooms between the two properties did give some minor logistical challenges as we had to figure out how it would work for our group. For any groups booking - there are two bedrooms in the larger cabin, but neither has a door/is fully enclosed (one is the loft with a queen bed and the other is a bunk bed just off the kitchen which doesn't have a door and has to be open to access the bathroom). The smaller cabin has three small bedrooms. This worked out for our group, but I could see it being an issue for other situations which is why I want to mention it here. ##### Pamela T. The check in process was nice and easy, it's the perfect distance for a quick getaway from the city. There we're only two of us, so we only used a small bit of what was available. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We always enjoy a a cozy fire. The place definitely needs a wood fired hot tub or just a hot tub. It would put it over the top. We had a large group and there was more than enough room for sleeping and doing lots of different activities with the kids outside from playing soccer, playing catch, catching frogs and camping games and plenty of room inside for when the weather wasn't so nice. Briana was very quick to respond everytime I reached out with a question. We will definitely be back and recommend these cabins to anyone wanting a nice place for a family getaway not too far from the city and surrounded by trees so it feels like you're hours away but not too far to run out for anything you may have forgotten.
