Top Lovreć Hotel Reviews

Hotel Antonio

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in the penthouse apartment which had a spectacular view of the entire surrounding area. We made full use of the hot tub, only to discover later on there were unknown floaties in there.. I think it could use a good cleaning. The room and the patio were very clean and very spacious. My daughter had been traveling for 3 weeks so needed to do laundry. While it normally takes 24 hours to get the laundry back, they did it in about 3 hours because we were leaving early the next morning. So while we got the laundry back in 3 hours, it was crazy expensive - EURO 60 for about 5 lbs of laundry.. Still, it needed to be done. The gentleman working the front desk was incredibly helpful and very nice. I wish I had gotten his name. Can highly recommend this hotel."

Bluesun Hotel Berulia

10/10 Excellent

"First of all, BRELA is beautiful. It does not have a lot of tourist due to the fact there is no cruise ship port bus terminal or airport nearby. It feels very local. The restaurants along the beach walkway were amazing and easy to access from the hotel. The sauna was excellent. There was a small fee but well worth it. You must reserve ahead of time but you’ll have a lot of privacy the beaches out front our world class they are small pebble type beaches, but the water is so clear you can see 25 feet Highly recommend heading out to the right side or to the north to a couple of the beach, restaurants and bars as they have outstanding food and drinks steps from the water wasn’t too impressed with the food at the hotel great buffet breakfast, but I wouldn’t recommend eating dinner there not because it wasn’t good. There’s just so many great options down the beach that are right on the water. The hotel was super clean and had been recently refurbished. We will definitely stay there again."

Grand hotel View

10/10 Excellent

"We found the property and our upgraded Bay Suite room exceptional. We opted to include the breakfast each day, the choices for the breakfast were great. We purchased the buffet dinner both nights and found that it was overpriced. We found the food for both meals were warm but not hot. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay!"

Bluesun Hotel Soline

10/10 Excellent

"Great location, the AC was not able to cool the room down below 25 degrees Celsius and we had to keep the curtains closed for it to not get hotter. They didn't have another room until the last 2 days. That one was a little cooler and we finally could leave the curtains open and enjoy the view not feeling like we lived in a dark cave. Breakfast buffet was ok, can't recommend the dinner buffet but there are a lot of options in the area. Beach and Adriatic Sea: amazing."

Aparthotel Miramare

8/10 Good

"It’s a slightly older hotel that has been upgraded. The beds were great, linens clean, restaurant more than adequate for breakfast & great location! Everything we needed was accessible to the property. Drawbacks - the parking is so tight all you see are scrape marks on the walls! It took several attempts to park & I drove busses for a living at one point. Top of my class for my CDL. Parking was one of my best attributes, even in tight spaces or backing into it! Nice staff & friendly atmosphere. Would consider staying there again."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lovreć?

The best area to stay in Lovreć is the village centre, particularly around the Church of St. Nicholas.

This area is the heart of Lovreć and offers a genuine experience of rural Dalmatia. You'll find the main square, local shops, and traditional eateries here. The Church of St. Nicholas, with its distinctive bell tower, is a central landmark, and the surrounding streets are generally quiet and residential.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find the village centre ideal. It provides a relaxed setting for enjoying local life, with opportunities for gentle strolls through the village and savouring traditional Croatian cuisine at local konobas. It's a great base for exploring the regional countryside.

For families, staying slightly outside the immediate village centre, perhaps in a villa with a private pool, can be a good option. These properties often offer more space and privacy, which can be useful with children.

When is the best time to go to Lovreć?

The best time to visit Lovreć is during the late spring (May to early June) or early autumn (September to early October).

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region without the intense heat and larger crowds of mid-summer. You'll find it comfortable for outdoor activities like hiking or visiting local vineyards.

Couples looking for a peaceful getaway will particularly appreciate late spring or early autumn. The roads are less busy, making drives through the picturesque countryside more enjoyable, and you'll find a more relaxed atmosphere in local restaurants and attractions. This allows for a more intimate and serene experience.

For families, these shoulder seasons also offer a great balance. The temperatures are mild enough for children to enjoy outdoor play without overheating, and accommodation prices can be slightly more favourable than in peak summer.
