I admit on the outside the motel looks a bit rough, but inside the rooms where it really matters, it was clean, well organized, and comfortable. I would stay here again, if I was looking for a cheap accommodation in the Annapolis area. Despite being right next to a busy state highway, it was very quiet and conveniently located to a couple of local restaurants and a convenience store."

"This place was wonderful for family get togethers. So incredibly home-y! Beautiful views from every window. The place is better stocked than any home I’ve ever rented and we’ve stayed in over twenty across the USA. Tissues in every room. Can never find tissues in other rentals! Also paper products, foil, every possible cookware and dish available for use. Loads of drawer and closet space if you like to unpack. Beautiful landscaping and waterfront views. Even the driveway was landscaped perfectly. I am a bird watcher / listener and the birds sing their hearts out in the trees surrounding the property. We utilized the kayaks and super wide paddleboard. We put the crab traps out and caught two dozen crabs. We all had fun and spent quality time together. Best rental experience EVER! Host Hal was very responsive to any questions we had too!"

"The house was great. It was well equipped with towels (beach and bath), kitchen items, and a welcome bin (snacks and toiletries). We made use of the pool, hot tub, and hung out on the dock in the morning. John was a very gracious host. He's responsive and made sure that we felt at home. Would definitely recommend!"

"We rented this house for a wedding at a nearby venue. It was only 5 or so minutes away. The house was a perfect space for our family and had plenty of room to hangout and welcome others for a visit. Everything you need is nearby too. I would highly recommend this property. Zero issues!"

"Blue Crab Cottage is spacious, well appointed, comfortable and has a terrific view of the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge. Rainy weather prevented us from enjoying the backyard,but the view from inside made up for that inconvenience.The home is quirky having different flooring levels on the main level. Stepping into different areas required staying alert. Though doable it is not wheelchair friendly.Overall, we were charmed by the cottage and recommend a stay to future guests."

"Nice, modern home, but lacking some basic amenitiesThe house itself is nice, clean, modern, and located in a pleasant neighborhood. The owners were very responsive, replying to emails quickly, and the check-in process was simple and efficient.That said, we found the house lacking some basic amenities that would have made our stay considerably more comfortable.The mattresses are covered in plastic, which makes a noticeable squeaking sound whenever you move during the night. The bedrooms also do not have bedside tables, so phones and other personal items have to be left on the floor and out of easy reach. There are no clocks or bedside lamps in the bedrooms other than the primary bedroom. There are also no shades or blackout curtains, which made the rooms quite bright in the morning.Since we were staying there to attend a wedding, we also found the upstairs setup inconvenient. The only mirrors on the second floor are in the bathrooms, making it more difficult for several people to get ready at the same time. There are also no chairs or tables upstairs, so there is nowhere to comfortably sit or work.The kitchen is minimally equipped, and some simple basics, such as sugar, were not provided. There is a small outdoor patio, but there are no chairs, so it unfortunately isn't really usable as an outdoor sitting area.Overall, this is a nice property with a good location and very responsive owners. With some relatively simple additions it could be a much more comfortable."
