CHECK IN: Contactless check in is available until 10 pm EST via keypad. Any guests planning to check in after 10 pm EST must notify the host in writing prior to 10 pm to make accommodations for after hours check in. The property was very clean and in an excellent location close to many shops, restaurants, and bars.The street noise can be loud at night but it is expected, being directly on a busy road.
Positives: Excellent communication with hosts, very clean, two large bedrooms, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen with coffee, located near restaurants and pubs, reasonable price, good parking. Negatives: We had to walk up 30 steps on an outdoor set of steps, entrance is from a parking lot accessed by a rutted alley, no outdoor space such as porch or yard.
This property was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. There were even laundry supplies available for the washer/dryer. We did not actually need them, but I thought this was a great perk. Highly recommend the property and visiting this part of Kentucky!
We rented this place for my cousins 40th birthday trip. Myself, my husband, my cousin and her husband. We enjoyed the area mid February. We explored distilleries, museums, food, and shopping. Great location for easy access to many different areas. Everything we needed close by and within this rental.
We stayed in the unit for four nights and had a wonderful time. The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. The location is great with tons of restaurants within walking distance. A grocery store is also nearby. We were a ten minute drive from downtown Louisville.
I would definitely consider this unit next time we are in Louisville.
This spot is great for accessing the hot Bardstown Road area. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants. However, the trade off is loud traffic all times of day which can make getting a good nights rest difficult. The layout of the apartment is awkward the couch faces the hallway, the tv is on a wall that not furniture faces, and the dining table is in the office.
The location was great for getting to the swim meet at Lakeside swim club. We didn't get to do much sightseeing because of the meet but did a couple of walks through Cherokee park and it was beautiful. Able to walk from the place to the park. There is a cat cafe very close that we checked out to look at kittens. 😁
The neighborhood was adorable and the best part of our stay! We felt safe, tons of things to do nearby even within walking distance. The place was very clean, which we appreciated and all small amenities were there. I wish the size of the staircase to get in would have been mentioned. It was very steep, lots of steps, and not easy to navigate with luggage. It was also a very noisy street, so for adults it was ok, but with a small child it would have been an issue. Bedrooms were very nice and comfortable, living area was very minimal.
Needed a base-camp in this area of the country. No prior connection/time in Kentucky. Chose Louisville, and this location - grateful I did. Clean and comfortable. Well located, about 1-2 miles from neat, fun restaurants and shops. Fun to tour through local neighborhoods. The unit is accessible only by stairway. Be ready if that is important.
We came to Louisville to attend Bourbon and Beyond. Everything about our stay was terrific. The place is spacious, fully equipped, and spotlessly clean. Brandon is wonderful. Communication was fast and helpful. He went out of his way to get us down pillows - so nice! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including coffee pods and the bathroom has a hair dryer. We were able to pair the TV with our phone to watch videos, etc. The place is located a couple of blocks from a great little neighborhood with lots of restaurants. It’s about 15 minutes from the airport. We ordered groceries online for some basic items and brought our own toiletries (recommended) unlike some of the reviews I did not find it noisy - just cars whooshing by but no other street noise at all (I’m from NYC so that may be a factor lol).
Perfect location for dining, coffee shops and cocktails. Quick access to downtown. The apartment was spacious and clean. This will be our go to place to stay when we are back in the city.
Great neighborhood full of shops and restaurants (with happy hour deals). Unit was exactly as described - updated, clean, decorated nicely and comfortable. I felt safe and would definitely return.
