The hotel is beautiful and clean. Free breakfast. Convenient shop in store. Front desk workers were very helpful. In walking distance to downtown. Only downside to being right downtown is that there were lots of homeless and people asking for money in the actual hotel parking lot and around rhe hotel. But our car was not disturbed.

We have never had to cancel before and never before pd to cancel so Hampton made money off us because they said policy is policy! That's fine we know who to avoid next time! Its sad there wasn't a refund due to the circumstances!

This was my 4th time at the Hampton Inn on Jefferson over 10 years, so I’ve been here a time or two. The positives: great breakfast, downstairs bar/extras selection, convenient to Yum Center/4th Street/convention center/interstate access, security was good. The not so positive: my room had a very stale smell which I hope was isolated to that room, and felt it could use a refresh/clean on carpet. The new $15/night to park was also unexpected on this trip. Bottom line, I would stay here again but hope they can sort a few issues and update.
