"I would highly recommend staying here! Jim was super communicative, updating me as to the changing landscaping projects that may affect my stay. He also was available by phone when I had issues connecting to the Wi-Fi.The house itself was lovely. There was everything anyone could want for a family, fun weekend games of grill, etc.."

"Perfect Cabin Getaway!This place is an absolute gem! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, the kind of people who make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The cabin has such a cozy, rustic charm with beautiful outdoor spaces and a fantastic location for exploring everything the Bitely / Baldwin area has to offer.We also brought our dog and she had the time of her life! The fenced yard was perfect for letting her run around freely, which made the trip so much more relaxing for us too. Finding a truly dog-friendly rental is rare, and this one nailed it.We will 100% be back. Highest recommendation! "
Cabin with beautiful acreage bordering Manistee National Forest

"Nice, clean little cabin. Very secluded with hiking trails right behind the cabin. Host answered all questions in a timely manner. Would definitely book again. Only issues was that the lawn needed mowed and the fire pit was overflowing with ashes but other than that I loved it. There is no TV nor WIFI which was fantastic for my idea of a back country stay. I loved the fact that dogs are welcomed and that the trails can be navigated without having to leash."

"The cottage is very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Could use a fan in the small bathroom for ventilation. Dish drainer is awkward. Dishes fell out. Air conditioner wasn't very effective (maybe needs clean filter). There was a terrible storm on our first night and the power went out; with no phone or internet we couldn't see weather warnings. Due east of us at Big Star there were pontoon boats turned over! If a tree had come down, how would we reach the host? And if a tree went across the driveway, we couldn't leave to drive to where we could get a signal. That was the biggest concern for us. View and property is beautiful. We saw fish jumping, a mink by the river, and heard lots of bird songs. Decks were very nice, but the one by the river didn't look like it had been cleaned since last year. Thanks for the K-cups and coffee filters. May we suggest you put in a new shower curtain liner? Very nice garage! Nice neighborhood."

"Absolutely amazing place ive stayed at alot of places but this is top of my list. The kitchen had all the utensils you'd need, the rooms super clean. The veiw out back from the hot tub is to die for. Will definitely be back!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was an amazing experience for my wife and I and helped us reconnect. It was exactly what was presented on VRBO. The cabin was clean and had all amenities needed for a fun and great vacation. Jody was very communicative and answered any questions we had, which were plant thanks to this being our first VRBO experience. I highly recommend staying here for some fun, romantic, adult time. If you do come in summer, I suggest bringing an extra fan to help the window ACs push the cold air (there are 2 included in the cabin). We had some weather issues and lost power twice but there was a backup, whole-house generator so we had no problems and Jody even reached out to check on us to make sure it kicked on. We have nothing negative to say. Only positives and amazing memories."
