Lovely place to catch the sun!
The owner and manager were amazing and extremely helpful, full marks!!! Marco (property manager) came within 24 hours for any problems/questions we had. The home is really nice, and it is in the middle of the of the community. Pools, 'mini market' and restaurants are all easy walking distance. Beds are very comfortable, and the upstairs deck is bright and sunny, as is the upstairs bedroom. Walking distance to the golf course, which is great especially the back 9, but beware, a lot of walking between holes, My pacer showed 16,000 steps per round. Didn't gain any weight on the trip, so the walking is a good thing. I recommend renting a car if you are staying for a couple of weeks as town of Loreto is about 15mins drive but there are taxis.

Really nice place in a very nice development; beds great, views great. Would do again for sure.
The property had bathtubs, which was a huge plus for me. Two complete master suites with very comfortable king beds, fans, and A/C. The kitchen had a dishwasher, and there was a washer/dryer, both of which were nice for our 10 day stay. Outside BBQ was also great for cooking our fresh-caught Dorado. The development is beautifully landscaped with lots of blooming plants (most with long thorns, so stay on the walks!) and fountains. Had some great restaurants, and live music several nights all within walking distance, and Loreto proper was only about 10 minutes away. I would definitely recommend the house, and will go back there if we can get it booked when we can use it. If you get waylaid at the airport by the offer of discounts for a sales pitch at the Danzanite (sp?) development, DON'T do it - not worth the hassle and they do NOT take no for an answer gracefully. All in all a great vacation house and location!

Charming House in an amazing neighborhood
This charming house is great for 2 couples, a family of 4 or 2 friends, as they'll have separate bedrooms with own bathrooms. One is upstairs and has a private entrance. The neighborhood is composed of the most charming Pueblo style Spanish homes with courtyards, walks and plazas. The beach is a grey sand, but the water is clear and although we didn't go in, it looked OK. They say to shuffle your feet because of sting rays. Loreto is a charming town and there is a restaurant called Santo Cielo (Holy Heaven) which is amazing. Across from the mission in town. They cooked our freshly caught fish for about $12.00 per person and they did a gourmet variety in 4 ways. Truly exceptional cuisine. We would highly recommend this charming house in Nopolo outside of Loreto

I am so sorry to hear that. If you would have told us, we would have sent our cleaning crew back! We never heard a word from you so we thought you were happy! I sent you an email connecting you to our hands on property manager who lives in Loreto in case any issues occurred. ! He is there to help with ANY issues. We never heard a word from you, nor ANY complaints!? You never responded. Did you not receive the information? We try to keep communication going through out our guests stay so we can make sure everything is clean and comfortable! We did not hear about any insects from previous tenants! Nor have we had a complaint like yours!?

Perfect location
You can’t ask for a better location - safe, quiet and convenient. The unit is well stocked, tons of TV channels and wireless is good. Info in house manual is outdated and email communication with property manager was not reliable due to incompatibility with US and Mexican email servers - recommend you ask the property manager, who is delightful and eager to please, to stop by on the first day to answer questions. Also unless you are planning to just stay in the community, I would rent a car. We used our car every day to do excursions and go into Loreto town and it was worth the expense.

Casa Chica is perfecto.
Debbie responded quickly and accurately to any request. The casa is gorgeous and super comfy. It is a villa close to our friends also renting nearby so the whole ambience fit us perfectly to entertain 4 couples easily. We were so busy that we were grateful yo have a well appointed kitchen, towels and amazing bed. 5 stars!

Beautiful casa, perfect location!
We were here for 2 weeks. The casa was perfect! Clean and comfortable, Kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals in. Beds were very comfortable. The rooftop deck has great outdoor furniture for relaxing and eating outside in the breeze. The location is perfect, quick walk to the beach, wine bar and Bistro. Debbie the owner was really easy to work with as was Marco from property management. He brought us water jugs, can schedule activities, and very knowledgeable about the area and happy to help navigate the area. We definitely recommend this casa and will plan on returning soon!

Hi our stay was nice - we did not reach out to the property manager - however, the shower heads did not work - no water and no water pressure - guessing the heads just need replaced or free of corrosion - otherwise the property was easy to access and very clean. Julie

Right in the heart of everything at Loreto Bay Resort - restaurants, beach, pool, small store - but still very private and quiet. Second level bedroom suite and large patio is wonderful. Kitchen is well equipped although a full sized coffee maker would have been a nice addition. Will definitely seek out this casita when we return to Loreto.

Felt at Home
The house is lovely with its wonderful local decorative touches. The whole Loreto Bay community is impressive. I definitely recommend booking an excursion out into the Sea of Cortez. The nature is outstanding---dolphins (2 kinds), humpback whale and many sightings of nature's largest mammal, the blue whale! Plus many birds. You can book excursions at the hotel which makes it very convenient. I was there 8 days without a car. The taxis were convenient because you want to spend time in the town of Loreto. The convenience store and the very popular breakfast/lunch cafe is just up the street.

Loreto Bay is a quiet well maintained development. Several mini marts and restaurants serving the community. A very nice spa/clothing store with a good women’s clothing area and reasonably priced spa. Our unit was well maintained and everything worked well in the house. Very friendly community. Great location and very well equipped.
Loreto Bay and Casa de Normans are a relaxing combination. Easy access and close to a number of small local places to eat. Comfortable beds and nice soaking tubs. Excellent (like new) clothes washer and drier at the unit. Check-In is easy and the staff are friendly and helpful. A great place to stay on Loreto Bay!

Property is in a good location if you don't mind dusty roadway...and lots of maintenance noise...
The house is very dirty and shop worn...needs a deep cleaning and fresh paint on the walls...the upstairs bathroom was terribly dirty and smelly...we purchased products and cleaned and cleaned...toilets don't flush adequately...but that may be a Loreto sewer and water problem as a whole...all in all a nice property to rent and enjoy Loreto...

I am sorry to hear this. I have been in touch with our property manager and they are doing a deep cleaning. There was a tree root clogged in sewage pipe and I don't know if you know that we had it rootered out while you were out for the day. I am sorry you didn't contact me while you were there and we would have sent housekeeping to clean thoroughly. I am easy to contact 24/7, and we want all guests to have the best experience they can.

A perfect place for vacation
The casa was well located to walk to restaurants and mini market. I really enjoyed walking the winding paths through perfectly landscaped areas of fountains, sitting places, and variety of plants. The casa was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were outstanding. Also, thumbs up for Mario, the property manager. A Great Place to Relax
We just spent 3 weeks at this property and really enjoyed our time there. The casa was exactly how the pictures showed in the listing. It is in a great location, easy walk to the beach, situated between the 2 resort pools and a nice easy walk to the golf course. Layout of the casa worked well for us, ample space inside and 2 outside seating areas. The second floor outside space was probably our favorite spot. We did have trouble with the front door sticking making it hard to open and close, but a quick message to the owner and a maintenance team had it fixed shortly. When we first entered the property there was a definite musty smell but dissapeared quickly after we opened doors and turned on fans. May have been empty for a while? Overall the property amenities were good; dishes, towels, furniture. We visited friends who were staying at another casa and Casa Norman had better items. One recommendation for the owner would be new pillows for the main floor bedroom. For anyone staying at the property, you will need to shop for food basics such as salt and pepper as there wasn't anything available. You might want to bring some items with you.

WONDERFUL VILLA
This was our third visit to Loreto and Founder's Bay. Each trip just gets better! The villa was as advertised, great location, wonderful outdoor areas, which matter the most because we were hardly ever inside! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you'd need if you decide to cook... which we did not! Hey, it was a vacations! Marco was fabulous and checked in on us for any needs we might have, but we were just fine!

Plumbing was a little iffy in downstairs bathroom. Needs light bulbs. We should not have to provide for the price paid. Could use some TLC, maybe better cooking utensils. Otherwise comfortable. Beds were good. Good television package for canucks. Marco was very nice.

I had a tree removed ASAP during your stay to remove root blockage that we did not know we had, and clear the plumbing issue. I also gave you OVER $900 (without any request from you) in refund because VRBO charged you a daily rate, instead of monthly rate. Were you aware of the refund? My property manager was always available to you to handle or fix any problem. My husband is a chef and will be adding more utensils.

Beautiful and relaxing Villa
This Villa felt like an oasis. Debbie and Michael's property is beautiful and right by the sea of Cortez. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return to Loreto. Relaxing sunny getaway
The property and neighborhood were wonderful. Everything was clean, the bed is very comfortable. We found great food at the many different restaurants in the neighborhood. The pools are lovely and well maintained. The beach is just a short walk through the neighborhood. It would have been helpful to have a book, map, or some hints about the area in the condo but we found our way around. We'll be back!

beautiful well maintained property
We had the most amazing stay. The grounds were so beautiful and the property was very well maintained. Although we were only there for 4 nights it took only hours to settle in as if it were our home. The property was nicely decorated and stocked with all the amenities that we may have needed. Everyone that worked and lived there were beyond welcoming and nice and we took advantage of the amazing pools, golf course, nearby tennis courts and restaurants. Can't wait to go back!!!!!!

Great home, great location, incredibly relaxing vacation
Weeding through the options of best place to stay on our first trip to Loreto was confusing, but we discovered we booked the best place - this is it. The lush landscaping, meandering walkways, plazas, and pools are breathtaking. The Loreto Bay villa and its home are beautiful. To top this, there are a number of pools, including a saline lap pool, and the beach is right there for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding or kayaking. There's a hotel resort, cafe, and wine bar for dining out. It has it all. This is one of the most relaxing, easy vacations we've ever had. Given the reasonable rate of this beautiful home, it can't be beat. We went with another couple and we were very comfortable in this double master bedroom home (one on each level). The owner Debbie is great. She told us best place for groceries and suggested an excursion to the first Spanish mission in the Americas. Loreto is new find for us - we'll be back. This home is on the main road in and out which has pros and cons but with slow speed and high walls of the homes, there's no noise impact and you park right at the front door.
