"It was relaxing to stay there. I enjoyed the fact that there was a full kitchen and dining area. I wish that we had thought to reserve a fishing boat for at least a half a day."

Secluded Forest Retreat With The Little Devil Track River Running Through.
10/10 Excellent
"Minnesota’s summer is short-lived, but oh so rewarding. Lake Superior is just heavenly — it feels like being seaside, although the water might be a tad too cold to swim. The A-Frame on the Devil’s Track River has both proximity to the greatest Great Lake, and the seclusion of a private cabin tucked away in the woods (best of both worlds IMHO). I would 100 percent come back again — the place was cozy and clean, with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay plus charming features such as original artwork, a piano, and a spiral staircase leading to the bedroom nook upstairs. I hope to come back and hike the Pincushion Trail next time. It’s super close! Away from this home base, we mostly spent time in Grand Marais (super cute town) and also took a day trip to Grand Portage — both the National Monument and State Park. I was delighted with the experience and the scenic views along Highway 61."
"We had a wonderful time. Appreciated the nice bathroom, comfortable bed and all the extra touches like a fully stocked kitchen and even a speaker (i had forgot mine!) The location was great - in the wilderness, but we could even walk to a cute coffee shop. We saw a fox on one of our walks there. And saw a moose right near the entrance to the cabin's road!"

"Beautiful property and beautiful cabin. The walking trails / the fire pit with firewood were appreciated. It is a really nice location between Lutsen and Grand Marais."
