For years, it has been alive with the rhythm of dairy production and a delicious cider-making tradition. By crossing the threshold, you step into the footsteps of a rich and authentic past. We have meticulously worked to preserve the soul of antique furniture and the architecture of the buildings, while integrating modern comfort for your well-being. At the end of the tree-lined path, you will find in the middle of the cobblestone courtyard, perfect for sunny lunches, "La Longère." It is the main house, with a large kitchen, a dining room, and a living room with a fireplace (yes, it works!) as living spaces. Still on the ground floor, a large bedroom, a bathroom, and an office. Upstairs, 5 additional large bedrooms, a shower room, and a bathroom. Happy are those who will have room "5", with terracotta floors and exposed beams. On the other side of the courtyard and the gravel path, the "Guest House" in stone and exposed beams with a large mezzanine bedroom (1 double bed and 2 single beds), a shower room, and a large cathedral room with its library, an office, and a magnificent fireplace. Two sofas (including 1 convertible into a double bed) form a pleasant living room with high ceilings. Then the Barn, where you will find games (ping-pong table, foosball, target and darts), bikes, and many other outdoor games. A Weber gas barbecue is available. At the back of the Longère, in a green enclosure protected from view, is the heated pool with its brick coping matching the building (6x7m, constant depth 1.4m) with safety cover, salt filtration. The place is completely preserved, away from roads and noise, surrounded by natural meadows belonging to the property. The region is particularly beautiful in all seasons, where you can visit heritage estates, take walks, on foot, horseback, or by bike (mountain bike trails nearby), fish, or go canoeing. "Le Pressoir" is located 2 hours from Paris, 15 minutes from Mortagne-au-Perche, 25 minutes from Nogent-le-Rotrou, 20 minutes from Bellême. The love and extra mile they’ve put into every detail is very noticeable and makes it feel like home. Jean is a great host and wonderful in communication. The space around the house is beautiful and so private. It was set in huge private grounds that are not overlooked by anyone except horses and donkeys. We had all our meals outside in the sunny courtyard chatting around the large tables and listening to nature, under the shade of the tree, and spent evenings there also under garden string lights. We loved the pool - the kids spent endless hours in it and the adults could relax on the comfy sun loungers under the parasols. There was also a pool cover and the area was gated so very safe for kids. The area was incredibly quiet - we could cycle on the roads from the property without coming across many vehicles, and visited many pretty villages in le perche region and saw beautiful churches, went to nice markets and played mini golf. But we didn’t need to leave the property - there was enough there to entertain us - the pool, table tennis, darts, badminton, bikes, table football, hammocks, swing, river, donkeys, ponds and frogs, games (we loved pickomino!) and tv (that was never turned on!). The accommodation was clean, had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, floorboards were on the creaky side and doorways low for taller guests, but authentically renovated and full of character. L’accueil avec Romain a été super, la maison est magnifique, tout comme la maison des amis et la grange qui est un vrai plus en cas de pluie !Nous nous sommes baladés dans la propriété où nous avons vu des ânes et chevaux, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable ! La propriété a énormément de charme, nous avons passé de très bons moments conviviales dans le salon, et au bord de la piscine qui était très agréable puisque chauffée ! La grange est spacieuse et a été un véritable plus vu la météo capricieuse. Nous aurions pu utiliser la piscine mais vu qu'il a plu tout le week-end...
