Unit #209 Sand Cay Beach Resort Pool View

  • Just a short walk to the beach, and steps away from the office, fenced in pool, tennis court and laundry facilities. This unit was totally renovated in 2015 with a beach, sea glass feel. The unit has an open floor plan, with great flow from the kitchen, dining area and family room.
    Both bedrooms are extended and spacious with ceiling fans and flat screen TVs. The second large bedroom has two full beds.
    Tiled floors throughout.
    Quaint, quiet, and the quality of a boutique resort, not the hassle, noise, the impersonal nature of a hotel. You will become part of our family, and we will look forward to your return year after year.
    When planning a trip to the beautiful Gulf Coast Beaches, stay at our property. All of our private beautiful condominiums feature full kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms and a balcony or patio to enjoy. We offer pool and garden, gulf and gulf front beach views. Our property features a heated pool, shuffleboard court, full tennis court and an immaculate private, white sandy beach.

Great stay in a beautiful apartment.

Everything you could want in a holiday accommodation! The apartment is beautifully decorated and presented, clean with all amenities you need. Great location and very helpful and friendly team in reception. Would definitely book again and request this same apartment.

Property was clean and perfect for our needs! Great location on the beach with a pool too! Free laundry was a nice touch. This property is located right about halfway between Brandenton Beach and St. Armands. The only challenge was getting to restaurants between 5-6 PM due to traffic.

Amazing place and location

After Christmas break

So easy to check in - everything was so convenient -ice, laundry, beach. The complex is a nice small size and has lounge chairs available on the beach for guests. We had a 15-20 walk to The Lazy Lobster( wonderful meal ) restaurant and ice cream. Grocery store was a short drive. Wish there had been a cooler with a lid or a cart for hauling items down to the beach. The boards available were cracked but there was a noodle and a wood board that were in great condition. The umbrella in the unit is short and the folding chairs were not the best but we made due - the complex has some on first come first service. The kitchen was well stocked and it was very nice to have foil, ziplocks and wrap available along with extras. Also had two options for coffee drip/Keurig - that was nice. Along with extra blankets for sleeping. The unit is spacious and worked out very well. We had a great stay and hope to be back soon.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed several times at Sand Cay over a period of years. The resort itself is beautiful and very well kept. However this time I was somewhat disappointed in our unit. I was shocked to learn that the thermostat has lock on it and is set at 71 degrees. That made for very uncomfortable sleeping. This fact alone will keep me from renting this unit again. Also the unit has some electrical issues. One of the outlets in the bedroom doesn't work and the garbage disposal switch quit working. The unit does not have a washer and dryer. This is a great inconvenience. After talking with many of the other occupants, we found that this was almost an exception. Definitely will come back to Sand Cay, just not this unit.

Sand Cay

We stayed in Unit 209 - the description of the unit was accurate. It had been redone - updated appliances - although the dishwasher did not seem to work and updated furnishings. The only negative comment - the air conditioner is located outside of the master bedroom - you can hear it cycle off and on during the night. I got used to it very quickly Beach was beautiful. Unit came stocked with beach toys and an umbrella. We would go back

Amazing unit!! Everything looks so new, I can't believe the renovation was 6 years ago, whole apartment looks brand new!! Super convenient and spotless clean. We found all stuff for the beach in the closet and resort provided us beach umbrellas. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you for hosting for us!
