"It was a fabulous place, for a family gathering! It was wonderful! It was great for young children with the huge lawn to run up and down...they pulled the dock out of the lake and didn't tell us so we were a little dissapointed to not have that access.It's a lovely place, wonderful rooms, great porch and kitchen!The hard part was being threatened if we weren't out of there by 11 am on Sunday we would be charged 50 every 15 minutes....with small children, a bunch of people having breakfast, and with the price of what was paid for this lovely place it made it very stressful to clean up pack up and get out of there. There was no need to rush us out of there like that, no one was using the place after us.The local person I dealt with was very kind and helpful..."

"Cozy home right on the water at Crystal Lake. The views can’t be beat whether you are sitting inside or enjoying the outdoors on the deck. There is a nice size yard and plenty of privacy as there are no homes on either side. The yard is not fenced so we did have to keep our dog on a leash but that was okay for a few days. The peaceful solitude of this place is what will bring us back. It’s convenient location to restaurants and shops only a short drive away, especially good is the Manitou Restaurant. Plenty of day trips you can do as well like Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Mountain, and charming little towns. We walked endless beaches at Point Betsie and Elberta Bluffs."

"We just wrapped up a week at this Platte Lake gem and it exceeded every expectation. The views are absolutely stunning — waking up to the water every morning, with glimpses of Lake Michigan nearby, made every cup of coffee feel like a vacation photo. The house itself was spotless from the moment we walked in, clearly well cared for by the owners.Space was another huge win. Plenty of room to spread out, relax, and just enjoy being together without feeling on top of each other. Whether we were inside unwinding or out on the deck taking in the lake, there was room to breathe.Location-wise, you really can’t beat it. We were close enough to Traverse City for dinners and shopping, minutes from the Leelanau Peninsula wineries, and had easy access to some beautiful dog-friendly beaches along the way. It’s the perfect home base for exploring everything Northern Michigan has to offer, while still feeling like a peaceful retreat away from it all.We’ll absolutely be back — this place checks every box: clean, spacious, gorgeous views, and unbeatable location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect Northern Michigan getaway."
