I used to go when it was Omni. Now that is Westin is more expensive and they didn’t change anything. Just the name. I was expecting more.

Disappointed with this “boutique” hotel. Location on the river was beautiful and the decor of the hotel was very well curated. Valet staff and bellman were friendly and very efficient. Everyone else we encountered seemed to be bothered when asked a question or performing their basic job duties. One even mentioned that they were busy and I suspect that was the case with a Baylor University function on site. However, from the front desk to Ambler staff to room service most encounters were off putting. Nothing horrible, just not pleasant. Would not recommend and will not return. Too many options with better customer service.

Busy and the lobby was HOT!

This is a FANTASTIC HOTEL! The employees are friendly and the place is like stepping back into old Cuba. The auditorium next door always has something wonderful going on. Or one of our favorites is going to the rooftop seating and watching old cartoons on the wall. It’s on the tail of the river walk and close to the downtown area with a nice little in and out without the downtown traffic once you get familiar with the area. We love staying in different rooms each time and we’ve stayed in four different beautiful rooms. I Highly recommend for a wonderful experience and I didn’t even mention the 5 Star Restaurant Ocho.
