Beautiful Stay to Enjoy Hocking Hills
Cabin itself is lovely. Saw some people complain about cleanliness but do not know where that came from. Property is very well maintained. Only two minor issues is that the owner could invest in slightly better wifi. Was able to get the little bit of work I needed to do done but it’s very slow. Also needs to buy new pillows for the beds. They were so flat, feel like they haven’t been changed out in a couple of years.

Enjoyed our Stay.
We come Hocking Hills a few times a year and always look to book a different cabin each time. We were excited for this stay as a treehouse stay just seemed fun. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. I saw a few reviews about the cabin in need of a good cleaning. It mainly just needs the cobwebs knocked down and the fan blades dusted off. other than that, it was clean and comfortable. The TV's don't really work so if you are in need of live TV, I suggest something different. However, they do have a large number of movies in a chest upstairs that we enjoyed each night on our stay. The wifi is spotty but it has been in every other cabin we've stayed in over the years. Streaming music was fine, but my husband tried to watch the NFL draft on his phone, and it buffered a lot. Not a big deal to us but just making others aware. We had no issues with the hot tub temp. In fact, we had to turn it down for the rest of the stay. It does have only one working jet but was still relaxing after a day of hiking. My favorite part was the windows and the wildlife. Waking up with the sun coming through the windows was just the best wake up call. As for the wildlife at different times we had a cat, a deer, and a racoon (that we named Rickey) visit us. The raccoon visited every night, and my husband tossed him shelled peanuts from the deck that he snacked on. Communication with the property owner was a breeze. Overall, we'd definitely consider staying here again.

It Was a Good Time Overall
We had a great time during our stay, a treehouse in the woods? Yes, please! We did however have a little bit of an issue with the WiFi not working, which isn't what we were there for, but I had a few school things I needed to have access to that I was counting on the place having WiFi for. I ended up going to a restaurant to complete them which wasn't ideal, and since I didn't have cell service at the house, I had a hard time communicating with the property manager to resolve the problem. The only other issue we had with the place was the amount spiderwebs. Now, I get it, we are in the middle of the woods, there are going to be bugs and things. But, seeing as this is a vacation getaway I would have liked for them not to be there. They were in just about every single window and corner of the place.

Nice location
Located in a great area. The TVs didnt work, the internet was spotty at best , and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Property manager was responsive and polite.

The view is worth it!
We really liked this property due to the seclusion (short walk from parking spot to house) and the view (it was amazing!) I wish I could have stayed longer and would consider staying here again. I love the floor to ceiling windows and cozy feel! I would recommend this property for solo traveler and/or intimate weekend with partner. The only drawback: hot tub wasn't warming up (it was cold out so not sure if that was the reason - another review mentioned it) and the place was in need of a deep cleaning, especially the kitchenette area.

Good location small space
We had a 3 night stay friday and left on Monday. Our weekend was rainy so alot of time was in the cabin and hot tub. The hot tub temp didn't keep up temp on the cold night dropping to 97* so be cautious if staying in winter and planning on hot tubbing in the cold. There are 2 mini frigs so don't bring anything too bulky we kept our beverages in cooler and food in frig. There is a keurig as well as regular coffee maker. There's no stove so i meal prepped and brought crockpot but there was already a crockpot there and countertop burners. The charcoal grill is broken but there's grilling utensils and fire pit is pretty run down. The cabin had a "damp" feel and mold in bathroom if you have allergies you will feel it. The pillows on couch and bed are bad shape and linens were sparce. Plenty of towels were provided. Overall it was ok the small details like other places provide aren't there so i wouldn't return. The cost of the cabin doesn't equal to what you get especially because its really a 2 person cabin.

Nice Cabin, But Small
The cabin was very cozy. It was about half of the size that it appeared to be from the pictures. The path from the parking to the cabin could have been lit better as a lot of the lights weren’t working, or weren’t that bright. The only other thing I would say is that I wish there was a gate by the stairs to keep people or animals from getting on the porch. Overall, it is a very nice cabin for 2 people or less. Anymore than that and it would be very crowded.

Just OK
The hike to get to the cabin is not for elderly. There is a pretty steep hill to start and end the trail to and from your vehicle. The trail has solar lights that do not work. They have a cart to take your things down the trail to the cabin, it has flat tires and the pump that is there for you to use doesn’t work. Found out on our last night there the hot tub jets didn’t work, but could not contact anyone…. there is no Wi-Fi and we had no service for a few miles out from the property. You can hear the neighbors on both sides of you. The stairs in the cabin to the loft are steep and loft is not for tall people. Ceiling fans will hit your head if your over 6ft. Bring everything you need, they provide towels and bedding. The cabin was cute and clean.

Making Memories
We had a great time with our three grandsons in this cute tree house. They loved that we had to cart our bags in a cart down the cute path.
