This log cabin chalet has an outdoor hot tub and a swanky indoor sauna. Situated in a grassy clearing surrounded by woods. Bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed, downstairs bedroom has two queen beds. Two full baths. Full kitchen (stainless steel refrigerator, full size range, microwave, coffee maker and toaster) with new high-top dining table with four stools. Vaulted ceiling with skylights makes the cozy space bright. Wood floors; porch swing; gas fireplace (seasonal); charcoal grill; satellite TV, DVD player and WiFi. Pet friendly. INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace and grill; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; satellite TV with DVD player; bed, bath and kitchen linens with Bath & Body Works soap and a supply of dish soap; toilet paper; access to the guest pool; central air conditioning and heat. SITE Black Jack – Hocking Hills is located off of State Route 664, on the Chalets’ 140-acre campus – just up the hill from the guest pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) and Chalets’ front desk. Great Quick Getaway

The cabin is nicely secluded for a company that has several offerings onsite. The amenities and cleanliness definitely stood out. The infrared sauna was a really neat experience. The hot tube was very clean, hot, and with good jet pressure. No issues at all returning to this one!

Close to trails and super clean

Went for a weekend trip to hike. Location is great if that's what you're going for. Area is super nice. The area is like a little subdivision with actual people at the office up front. We felt super safe and had an amazing time. The upstairs bathroom was a little tight but the downstairs bathroom made up for that. Great trip!

Overnight getaway with friends.

Everything was very nice! Very comfortable and relaxing! We enjoyed a little time in the hot tub last night. We went out for dinner so we didn’t cook while we were there. Only suggestion I would make is there are no outlets near the bed. Couldn’t use our Cpap machines as no place to plug them in. Otherwise I would highly recommend this for a small family or two couples.

Comfortable cabin near trails

Two night stay with 4 adults, 6yr old, 3 yr old & 2 dogs. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. And the spacious lower level was good for the littles and parents to separate from dogs and other adults. Location was secluded enough for dogs to be able to play in yard although it is all on a hill. Parking is not what you’d expect but works well. Only complaint is that we were not made aware of the burn ban until the night before we arrived. Kids were looking forward to camp fires and smores and although we were told they’d turn fireplace on, we clouldnt get it to work. AC works well and actually pretty cold in lower level. Sauna is a nice perk!

Weekday getaway

We loved the chalet; the location, the hot tub, the pool, the covered deck, etc. the beds were comfortable , there were plenty of towels in bathroom and kitchen and the swinging chair was nice. The only minor things that happened included the keyed entry broke but was promptly replaced. Same thing happened to the coffee maker, but again replaced immediately. One thing that still needs to be addressed, which we only mentioned when we left was that the sink stopper wouldn’t stay up so we have to prop it with something so the sink would drain. This should be an easy fix snd based on the quick service we got during our stay, I’m sure it was taken care of. We would stay here again.

A nice getaway!

Clean, conveniently located to hiking attractions, and equipped with some fun amenities, Hemlock cabin was all we could have hoped for during a weekend getaway with our teenagers! We'd definitely come back!

Dangerous and uncaring

The stay was good. The place was in a nice location. However maintenance was poor. We were told maintenance would regularly check the hot tub. That did not happen. When we stated it needed to be addressed we were told no one was available. Also to get to the fire pit is a hazard as it is stone and downhill. However the worst was as we packed up. As my husband took items to our car to pack up. The top step broke from under him and he fell pretty hard. He was banged up pretty good and now has bruises and swelling throughout his legs. When we checked out and told the staff, there was no reaction. They said they would get maintenance over to fix it. Didn’t ask how he was or if they could do anything. No apology. I mentioned that our grandson had been with us and if this had happened while he was here he could have been seriously hurt. Then someone finally asked if he was ok but in a monotone voice. I own a business and if someone had fallen I would be concerned for them, jumping to see what I could do to help them. Very disappointing!
