The best time to visit Lo Barnechea is during the spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) months, when the weather is mild and pleasant.During spring, the temperatures are comfortable, ranging from 15°C to 25°C, and the city's parks and gardens are in full bloom. This makes it an ideal time for outdoor activities like exploring the cycling paths along the Mapocho River or enjoying a leisurely stroll through the Parque de Lo Barnechea. The clear skies and gentle breezes create superb conditions for sightseeing and enjoying the natural beauty of the foothills of the Andes.Autumn also offers excellent weather, with temperatures similar to spring, typically between 12°C and 22°C. The changing colours of the foliage provide a picturesque backdrop for walks and outdoor dining. This season is particularly good for those looking to enjoy the local vineyards that are within easy reach, as it's often harvest time, and many wineries offer special tours and tastings. While Lo Barnechea is lovely year-round, these shoulder seasons avoid the hotter summer months (December to February), which can see temperatures climb above 30°C, and the cooler, sometimes rainy, winter (June to August).
