« Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. « I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. »

« Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly. »

Property somewhat worn and needs a good paint job but wear and tear is understandable on a place that sees so many holiday makers. « It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful »

« We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable. »
