The location of this hotel is perfect. The room had high ceilings and the bathroom was huge. The room was too cold when we walked in. There was an inverter heater and it took us the whole night to heat up the place.

Dear Madam, thank you for your review. Your reservation made through Expedia was last minute reservation, made on 17.12.2023 for 18.12.2023. Much before that you made reservation from 19.12.-21.12.2023 through other online reservation sistem. With no problem you stayed on 18.12.2023. There was no complain about heating at hotel reception desk. Since in the room is air condition you can regulate the temperature by your own. Since we noticed that you have 2 reservations for 3 nights stay, we made you reservation for the same room, so that you don't need to change the room after the first night. You check out in the middle of the night of 19.12.2023 to 20.12.2023. We refuse to return money to other reservation sistem, not to Expedia, because there was no complain during your stay. We would be glad to check if something was wrong with heating and if needed change the room. So, it seams more that your plans changed last minute as something was wrong with the room. We also accommodate you in superior room even the reservation was for standard room.

My husband and I only stayed at Hotel Emonec for 1 night. It was a small, basic hotel with no frills but suited us fine. The hotel itself has a weird layout and we had to carry our suitcase up 3 flights of stairs and through a maze of corridors (with no lift). It was fine for us, but I imagine those with mobility issues would struggle. Also, there was no luggage rack in our room which was a struggle as we had to lay our opened suitcase in the middle of the floor and walk around/over it. However, in terms of location this hotel is excellent! It is bang in the centre of Ljubljana's main streets. We appreciated being so close to all the attractions and restaurants.

This is a great place for families and we enjoyed staying in family room for 5 that is walking distance from everywhere in centre of wonderful Ljubljana. The hotel is excellent value for families. Breakfast for 5 Euros was also good value. Friendly staff and place to store luggage.

It was an easy walk from the bus station and in the heart of the old part of the city. The staff was welcoming and answered all our questions. We ate breakfast each day (for 5 euro each) and felt it was adequate. Our only complaint was that you can hear outside noise easily and our room faced onto the entrqnce where people gathered. Overall, it was fine!

My stay here was very pleasing. I had a great time in Slovenia and can’t wait to go back. The hotel is very close to everything and centrally located. The only thing I didn’t like were the pillows since they were very u and hard compared to the mattress. Also, they charged me ahead of time without notice and before the stipulated date. Other than that the stay was excellent.

The hotel was decent, clean and in a great location. There was a decent breakfast in the morning. The staff were very good, helpful in locating areas of interest and friendly. I would recommend this hotel it was a good price point.

Émincé Hotel… great place to stay !
If location is key, then this is the place for all as it is a 1 minute walk from Perseren square and the three bridges to the old town. Hotel room was comfortable and clean and while we had some issues with faulty lightbulbs, the hotel receptor ( Mario Peranovic) was very helpful and courteous with his prompt assistance. Would go back there without any hesitation.

Convenient, clean, and friendly Emonec Hotel
Centrally located in the heart of Ljubljana, the Emonec Hotel gives you walking access to anywhere that you might want to go in the city centre. The hotel and rooms themselves are off of main street, but they're actually all accessed through a courtyard, making it nice and quiet. The ladies at check-in were friendly and helpful. Our room itself was massive, with two single beds (pushed together to form a double) in the first room, then two single beds and a dining table in a secondary bedroom. Lots of cupboard space. The bathroom was of a good size and meticulously clean. The only thing that I really wanted was a little refrigerator, which could easily be tucked inside one of the cabinets. My husband also pointed out that there were no paintings or wall decor whatsoever, but my understanding is the the hotel is undergoing renovation. A reasonable price for a last-minute room, especially considering the location. I would stay here again, especially if they add refrigerators.
Main room - pushed the two single beds together for a double.
Spotlessly clean bathroom -- including a deep tub.
The second room with two twin beds and a dining table. We never used it, but thought it was nice.

The bed was comfortable and the price was value for money. The bathroom was very bad, really small, shower was terrible, drainage in the shower was awful. The reception staff were not very helpful. Its a cheap and cheerful hotel, but i wouldnt expect too much! It is located in a very good locarion in the Old Town!

All the people at front desk is very friendly, Mario made our trip super special, gave us tips on where to go and how to do it, he truly is a “hospitality person” we loved the city and the people.

Pros: Great location. Can't beat the location in old town. Wifi was solid. Cons: 1) Bed sheets had stains on it. 2) When I arrived back at the hotel at 2am, I found the concierge sleeping on the entrance couch. That was very unprofessional. Would still return because of location, but not at the price I paid.

The location is amazing! The room was really comfortable and had everything that I needed. The tv wasn't working because of a signal issue so I told the front desk but no one fixed it. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
