"The Super8 in Hancock exceeded my expectations for a budget overnight stay (Berkeley Springs WV was my destination). With that said, it's not super fancy, but I could tell that there have been efforts to upgrade (with some ways to go). There were ample hooks and hangers, the single queen room was spacious. I found that the nicest touch was the dimmable nightstand light, both for winding down, and in the early morning. The young man who checked me in was thorough and friendly. I paid $15 for an early check in, and got a nap in. The sheets / towels were clean. The only thing I felt missing was a box of Tissues. I was comfortable enough and actually got some shut-eye before an early departure."

"Had to check out with a person in a machine. Basically video check out. Breakfast items slim pickings. Met my need for the one night stay. Was very loud. Maybe construction nearby?"

"Was charged $150 deposit even though I purchased through a third party and found out later they weren’t supposed to do that. I personally think they want to much for the rooms. I paid $212 and a $150 deposit to stay one night! It was decent cleaned but the hotel smelled like cleaner instead of smelling clean. The pool is outdated and the walking trail they advertised is not there. If the rooms were $119 a night would be more reasonable. The best part was that the breakfast was good. I would not stay there again. It was at best “ok” "

"We had a nice stay but bathtub was very slippery. Suggest mats be available. I actually fell getting into the shower/tub. "

The host truly thought of everything — from the little conveniences to the essentials, everything we could have needed was already there. It made the stay comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."
