"this motel is 1/2 block from the Ross Memorial Hospital. It is a good alternative to driving after surgery. Also on the Main St and tucked away in behind a grand old house on a deep lot. Quiet ."

"We really enjoyed the quiet and closeness to the water. It was lovely sleeping and waking up to the sound of the waves. Our host was very thoughtful and had bottled water and kindling available for us. I also appreciated the clean sheets and towels. I just wish that the place was a bit cleaner. I also didn’t realize from the listing that there is no indoor shower. Perhaps I missed it, but it was a bit chilly to use the outdoor shower."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The curtains were different lengths which irritated my need for symmetry a bit. The shower head was not secured correctly causing a significant sideways spray that soaked the bathroom floor everytime we showered. The carpet squares secured to the second level walkway were loose and folding up, causing a tripping hazard right by the set of stairs. The staff wasnt rude by any means, but they also were not overly welcoming either, just kind of blah."
