Gabriele's comment is not true, it only reflects their disappointment at the fact that they did not read the property description (they did not read it because they do not know how to speak English or French, and unfortunately the property does not have a description in German) and they did not have any EMPATHY towards the host. They did not value the work, effort and care spent in preparing and making the apartment available and welcoming it. I was surprised late in the morning the next day with a message saying that they had left the apartment, which left me shocked. In 8 years of activity I had never had such an unempathetic reaction. When I received them, they were very smiling but when the check in ended, after some difficulties in communication, she told me that she had difficulty speaking English, she used Google translate to express herself, and told me that she had not read the description of the property, however, I seemed satisfied with the apartment. If they had read the description, they would have realized that I rent a 1 bedroom apartment (living room + 1 bedroom) on the ground floor next to the pool. The living room has a large glass door and window overlooking the pool, and the bedroom has 3 windows as shown in the photographs (a room with 3 windows does not lack light). The lack of light, in the living areas, the dining room and the bedroom, is a false argument. The kitchen as it appears in the photos does not have a window, it is a minimalist kitchen, designed to prepare simple meals and consume them on the porch by the pool. In reality they thought they were renting the entire property, which disappointed their expectations so nothing would be fine. If they had done the Estoril Coast Route, they would have seen that the 4-lane road that they refer to in the comment is the mythical “Marginal” road and in some areas the train line is together, so all the beaches are along of this road. To access the beaches you have to go along the Marginal road and in some areas the train line.
