This apartment was formerly housing a bourgeoisie family during the Baroque period. My apartment has been retrofitted with modern conveniences while preserving the heritage of the building, including the ceiling filigrees and sunlight-filled windows. The living area is the entertainment hub with a large wooden dining table, a plush sofa bed and a TV to watch your favourite shows. The kitchen is in its dedicated area with a breakfast counter, all the accoutrements to make complete meals, and a KRUPS coffee machine for your morning latte. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom, and the second room has two single beds and a dedicated work desk ideal for remote workers. Both beds have hotel-quality linens, and the bathroom is fitted with all the essentials, including clean towels and toiletries for your convenience. Sanitisation will be done before your arrival. Enjoy your stay! Guests will have access to the entire apartment! We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own. Santos-o-Velho is a charming neighbourhood in the western part of Lisbon, just a short walk from the Tagus River. Known for its historic buildings, narrow streets, and beautiful views of the river. A neighbourhood is popular with both locals and tourists alike. Visitors can explore the Museum of Ancient Art, which houses a stunning collection of paintings and sculptures, or wander through the Jardim 9 de Abril, a lovely park with a playground, picnic areas, and a fountain. The site is also home to various trendy restaurants, bars, and cafes, making it an excellent spot for a night out. Just to the east of Santos-o-Velho is the popular neighbourhood of Alcântara, known for its lively nightlife scene and trendy shops and boutiques. Services like Uber, Bolt and G7 are available to download and be used in Lisbon. However, many areas like Bairro Alto, Cais do Sodre and Alfama are within 30-40 minute walking distance. The nearest transit stops are: \- Santos-o-Velho, approximately 550m or 7 minutes by foot. \- Santos train station, approximately 1.3 kilometres or 17 minutes by foot. Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS) is located approximately 9.6 kilometres away from the city's northeast. The travel time by car can vary depending on traffic conditions and the route; it usually takes around 20-25 minutes to reach. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. The neighborhood was very pleasant and surprisingly quiet. However, when we arrived the apartment smelled musty. The second bathroom shower drain was extremely slow, causing some flooding of the bathroom and there was also a strong odor similar to mold and perhaps sewer by the end of the stay from that bathroom. ##### K B. Séjour de 5 nuits en décembre 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Thomas H. 28 oct. 2025 Positiv, Lage der Wohnung einfach alles gut erreichbar.Negativ, Wohnung entspricht nicht den Fotos, die Wohnung ist viel kleiner als sie auf den Fotos wirkt. Kein Platz für vier Personen mit normalen Koffern. Platzangebot wurde mit Bettdecken usw. ausgefüllt. Beim betreten der Wohnung kam uns ein sehr ekelhafter Geruch entgegen, Kanalgeruch der leider nicht wegging.Dusche Abfluss war verstopft, Badezimmer wurde geflutet. Wir haben aus den Verhältnissen das beste herausgeholt, leider fanden wir auch keine zwei einzelne Betten vor, wie auf dem Foto hinterlegt. Der freie Platz für eigene Wäsche war leider durch sehr viele Bettwäsche überladen und somit lebten wir aus den Koffern, jedoch auch für die Koffer auf dem Boden ist nur begrenzt Platz. Bei offenen Fenstern ist Fluglärm von startenden Flugzeugen mit einzuplanen, auch Nachts.Die Lage der Wohnung ist Sensationell, mit Kompromissen kann man da einen Urlaub verbringen. ##### Thomas H. Séjour de 7 nuits en octobre 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Fabian Z. 5 oct. 2025 Points forts : Propreté Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage, sie ist klimatisiert & ansonsten auch gut ausgestattet mit Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine etc. Allerdings riecht das zweite Schlafzimmer mit den zwei Einzelbetten sehr nach Feuchtigkeit und im Eingangsbereich der Wohnung wächst etwas nicht definierbares an der Wand. Zudem war aus gemacht dass wir um 11 Uhr auschecken.
