“Tucked Away” in a quiet and private setting.

This comfortable and cozy home is the last house on a quiet street (there is no thru traffic). Relax on the back patio and enjoy the large yard and outdoor space.
The spacious kitchen is newly remodeled with a large island with granite countertops and seating. Gas stove with built-in griddle on the range top and a Dining room table can seat up to 8 people.
It is an 8 minute drive to Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife area, only 11 minutes to Redbird Recreational are and 19 minutes to Shakamak State Park.
This property is owned by a veteran/husband & wife team, we live in Linton and take pride in this property. We saw a need in our community for short term rentals and decided to jump in! We hope you choose Tucked Away for your stay! Check out our other property “The Hide Away”

Stayed 2 overnights to celebrate traditional 4th Holiday with extended family. Great, quiet location. Events of second day delayed due to rain but more time to relax at the house. Love the lighted patio area with adjacent firepit! Comfortable accomodations for all 4 adults & kids enjoyed the pull-out Q/K bed with their private TV. Overall great VRBO house!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. The house was decorated sooooo cute & homey. I especially appreciated the additional fan provided by Tim! The house was equipped with any appliances you could possibly need, incredibly comfortable bedding, location was perfect as well. Tim was quick to respond to my messages and very friendly with each encounter! If I ever find myself in Linton again, I will definitely rebook! You won’t regret booking this place!

The property owner was very fast at responding. He seemed every bit of a pleasure to have as a host. The description and all seemed amazing. Unfortunately, I never was able to make it to the home due to snow started n was falling pretty fast. I was n town for a funeral and didn’t think to check the weather there in Indiana. I was disappointed not to have received any discount or maybe to arrange different days for a stay at the home after contacting the owner n letting him know I had to turn around. I gave a good review for the process of scheduling n contact with the owner. I’m sure this house was all that it’s described to be. It was off to its self also so that was a plus. Thank you for an easy process to book n contact.

Stayed one night in this 2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom home and it was marvelous. Everything was as described, easy check in and check out. Close to the school, however, very quiet and private area. Would stay here again.

Linton is a small town and we really appreciate the availability. The location was ideal and the amenities superb. We have family that live in town (currently doing an ADA remodel) so we will hopefully be able to book your property for many upcoming needs.

Cute little house
We stayed at this house while in town to visit family. It's a cute little house. It was adequately equipped for our week stay, with the added bonus of some toiletries just in case you forgot yours. The two Roku TVs work well, and the one in the primary bedroom shuts itself off if you happen to fall asleep or leave the house while it's on. We were happy to have a place to do our laundry before moving on to the next part of our trip, as well. All in all, a good experience, and we'd recommend this place to friends.

Needed just an overnight to visit family in area; "Tucked Away" was the perfect lodging for us. Entire house beautifully furnished; kitchen fully equipped for any cooking/meal needs. We definitely hope to return for another stay!
