"This Motel is incredibly charming , inside and out. All of the design elements and finishes are extremely well thought out. Several of the ideas I’m borrowing for my own home, especially the photo in the shower tile design. This is my second time staying here , and will never stay anywhere else, while visiting Hermann."

"The hotel itself was excellent with clean, modern rooms and the most comfortable beds. I would not spend any extra money on the vouchers for the breakfast. The food was terrible, the service was very slow, and the buffet was very slow to be replenished. Our table along with several others left to eat elsewhere after waiting over 20 min to be served with drinks and also waiting for the buffet to be replenished. We also ate our evening meal there the night we checked in and had a very long wait, poor food and service."

"Absolutely phenomenal stay! The hotel was spotless, the staff was fantastic, the rooms were quiet, and the breakfast was so good I briefly considered extending my vacation just to eat another waffle. The only “complaint” wasn’t really the hotel’s fault it was my travel companion’s. My buddy is a towering 6’9”, and when he went into the bathroom to change clothes, he stretched up a little too enthusiastically and karate punched the ceiling. For a brief moment, we weren’t sure if we needed ice, a chiropractor, or to file a report with the Department of Tall People. The bathroom survived. My buddy’s ego… not so much. If you’re under 6’8”, you’ll probably never notice. If you’re built like an NBA center, maybe duck a little. Would absolutely stay here again although next time I might bring a tape measure and a pair of boxing gloves for Stretch Armstrong."

"The property has a large two-level house with spacious rooms and comfortable furnishings. The primary bedroom, closet, and bath are all very big, as are the kitchen, dining, and living rooms. A half bath is off the dining room. The two guest rooms and bath are on the lower level with the living room, where the large TV hangs on a wall and you'll also find a game table. Bring your own shower gel/soap for the showers, but liquid hand soap is provided at all of the sinks. The kitchen has just about everything you could need in the way of silverware and serving pieces, dinnerware, glassware, large and small appliances, pots and pans. Some spices, cooking oil, and condiments were available. The only things we didn't find in the kitchen were a corkscrew and wine glasses, but we had our own. Outside are several seating areas and porches. The covered porch on the lower level has both charcoal and gas barbecue grills. We enjoyed afternoons in the pool and we brought our own pool floats. Deer, armadillo, and many species of birds were seen on the property, and we occasionally heard cattle mooing in the distance. The Thriftway grocery store in Linn is less than 10 minutes away and had a wide selection of products.Stephanie was very good about communicating with us. We would definitely go back for another long weekend."
