"I'm satisfied with everything in the hotel except the fire alarm happened on the Tuesday night (10/6/2026). We were waiting outside of the hotel for more than 1 hour. We were tired after a whole day activity. But we can't go to my room to get rest."

"Cute cabin location by the river with river access. They have a game room, fire pit, grill, and out door oven. Easy check in. It is outdated but feels like camping in a real cabin. There are heaters but they're not powerfull enough to keep you warm. It is cold at night. (Plan ahead for that). I would come back and pack a heating blanket next time."

"We came in October to do leaf peeping. Mike and Susan are great hosts with a good sense of humor. The room was nice and warm and there was plenty of hot water. Next time, we’re going to try and get a cabin on the river. There were none available when I made the reservations. This is just a great place to stay."

"The room was super clean. The jacuzzi bath was amazing although I didn’t use the jets it was perfect for recovering from the hikes we did. The bed was nice….not as soft as I like but still very easy to fall asleep in. Our rooms were quiet. Fireplace was amazing. Loved the kitchen. It was so spacious. The only downside was no food. And the food places in town are not the best…slow, expensive, and there’s so much traffic. It’s best to buy your own groceries and cook. And it’s surrounded by so much beautiful scenery. Loved just sitting on the balcony when it rained; super peaceful."

"It was peek autumn color change season so I imagine the price was jacked pretty high. Compared to area properties I guess the price was ok. Good things: shower / pillows / location. Not so good: furniture - couldn’t get drawers open / linens very old / paper thin walls - I could hear EVERYTHING in the next room / looks like improvements have been made in this older motel - just struggled with what is was for the price - I always research hotels.com comments before I book - not sure what a lot of their ratings are based off of. It was clean but I wasn’t thrilled when I saw it and realized I’d booked it for 5 days. I mostly used the room to shower and sleep which were pleasant."
