I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. "Kenaki Lodge was the perfect home base for our time in Cahuita/Puerto Viejo. With the beach just a few steps away from our room, we could listen to the waves as we fell asleep and could easily relax in the Carribean. We appreciated the privacy and seclusion of the property, while still being able to walk into Cahuita to access the national park and restaurants. Alberto, the owner, and his family clearly take great pride in the property and hosting guests, and they went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. Their onsite breakfast was a great option as well, making it easy to start the day and then go out exploring., and Alberto had no shortage of suggestions for things for us to experience. During our stay we were fortunate to witness freshly hatched turtles released into the ocean, on the beach right in front of the property, and see many birds in the trees around the building."
