« Property and room was exquisite. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very curt and rude staff member who seemed upset that she needed to wait for us to travel here for the evening on a long weekend. She phoned us 3 times confirming our arrival time. We told her it would be around a certain time and she mentioned to us that as it was a long weekend, they wanted to leave earlier then the stated check in time. « We had a wonderful two night stay at hotel california.
We were late to check in, however was seamless for us after hours to speak to staff and get the run down, checked into the room just as the sun was setting over the vineyards. A stunning place to stay, easily located with everything you need within 10 min drive.
We hired bikes from SA E Bikes and got them dropped to the property, we rode around the local wineries all day and ended our day back here to do a tasting. »

« This place was perfect for our visit to the Adelaide Hills. Clean, well set up with everything you will need (and more) and in a perfect location to bike or drive to nearby cellar doors. I would book it again without hesitation. »

« Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified. »
