This newly renovated three bedroom home in the heart of downtown Lewes is so comfortably furnished you may never want to leave! The first floor features an open floor plan with dining, living and kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances. The newly constructed and spacious outdoor shower is a perfect way to rinse off from the beach, and the back deck off the dining room has a large gas grill and seating for six - ideal for after beach cooking. The second floor has three bedrooms, one of which is a master with its own bath, and all new fixtures and ceiling fans. The other two bedrooms share a hall bath. An easy walk to shops, restaurants and historic spots of downtown Lewes. Close to the beach and Cape Henlopen State Park. Property is available for three night stays in the off season. All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package. This property does not allow pets Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00\. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO. The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning and listening to the birds was lovely. Somehow the photos really didn't do the house justice. It's tastefully decorated, and feels spacious even though it's not a huge house. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a few meals. All of the furniture was notably comfortable, beds included (and we are admittedly judgy when it comes to beds). Outdoor shower is really convenient when returning from the beach. Close enough to town that you can walk to the shops and restaurants in under 10 minutes. On a bike it's just a few minutes. Also a block away from a park, which was nice for my kid. I'd say the only thing that gave me any anxiety was having a physical key to get in. We've become accustomed to rentals that have keypad locks so all we need to do is remember a code versus remembering to take a key every time we leave. Picking up the keys at the management office was a minor inconvenience, but everything was ready to go and the people were fast and helpful. All in all, this was a great house and we really enjoyed our stay! ##### Michele M. The quiet street was perfect and a short walk to town. We rode our bikes to Johnny Walker beach (next to the ferry) and drove to Cape Henlopen State park. House was immaculate and well stocked. Great back yard and the bedroom set up was perfect for our family. Loved the laundry & half bath on the main floor. The outdoor shower was perfect for keeping the sand outside.
