This was not the best hotel experience. The first issue was with the temperature- it was absolutely freezing all night, and there were no directions on how to fix it. We looked all around the room and had no luck finding any remotes or switches for it. Then we tried to use the pool in the morning, and this was a fiasco. Again, there were no directions anywhere on how this worked. We walked over to the pool in our towels, assuming we could just go use it since the website didn’t say differently, but the guy said we had to book out a time to use it and show our vaccine passports. So we had to go all the way back to the room to get our papers, then we come back and are able to book out a time and get the key. But the key he gave us did not work, and we had to find a lady who worked there to let us in. After the pool, I showered, and the soap/shampoo/ conditioner that they provide are terrible and VERY watered down, not effective at all. They also did not provide any water for us in the mini fridge, and I woke up severely dehydrated- I have been to a lot of hotels in my life, and usually if I’m paying over a hundred dollars a night they will at least provide a couple of water bottles, especially now since there aren’t any water fountains anywhere due to COVID. Lastly, about an hour before checkout, we noticed that there was a GIANT beetle on the ceiling. Would not recommend if you are looking for somewhere nice to stay.
