"This was our second visit to Kaya. It won't be our last. The staff were incredible. The location is breathtaking and the access to the 3 Valleys is perfect. Facilities ticked every box. Really nice pool, steam room and sauna. the breakfast filled us up for a long day on the mountains. The evening meals weren't the best value compared to nearby restaurants but were still delicious. This place is an absolute winner. "

"Great place to stay.. we stayed for 4 nights 2 adults and my 13 year old son.. the only things I’d say..!! is it’s pointless having a kitchen in the apartment, if you do not give a few more facilities for people to use.. we did not go for breakfast as we only eat small before hitting the slopes.. it’s obvious that the hotel restricts any cutlery to force people to eat there or eat out., personally I run 5 holiday rentals and would never restrict items from a property.. the place is restricted by the lack of kitchen facilities in the apartment. Providing some basic kitchen amenities could indeed enhance the guest experience and flexibility. just the little things added certainly would give the hotel a much better rating, as guests do need the options..!! We had to use the multi tool cork screw with tiny pen knife. Lucky we’ve survival skills to adapt 👍😎"

"We booked the room with the expectation to find a 4 stars hotel, both families came with our kids and it was supposed to be our winter holiday, but unfortunately it become a nightmare. Rooms were dirty, walls were damaged, juicy or vomit on the floor, the sofa was badly stained and super dirty, toilet was licking and made a bad noise all night, sheets were dirty, no hair drier, no basic hygiene objects, with stinky hair and with a lot of small hauls, the shower didn' t work because the hot water didn’t work (was unable to shower of course), the window couldn’t be closed during the night and all night the apartment was incredibly cold. The smell in the toilet was bad, we had to use the toilet near the reception in order not to vomit.The curtains were damaged, the heat did not work the whole night, and as a consequence we got cold and felt sick. We have taken pictures for everything we mentioned above and also the manager/ receptionist came and saw the situation and agree. (We also have a video with her saying that we are right.) We are going further with the legal actions, already started with the lawyers, until we will get the money back- at least the paid amount, as the expenses were lots higher because we had to change everything because of this event! So we have initiated an action to get also penalties for the damages you have caused besides the 3.600€ paid. Expedia is as guilty as the hotel management as you promote terrible hotels 2 stars maximum as they are 4 stars. "

"Property is in a great location for access to slopes and just a short walk to bars and restaurants in Bruyères area. Only real criticism is it’s smaller than it looked on the photos but was still ok for us. Wi-Fi wasn’t available 8n the upstairs of the property until a new hotspot was put in on our last day."

"So myself, my wife and our dog stayed in Yves apartment for 5 weeks over January and February. We had family join us for a week. The location of the apartment is brilliant. It literally is ski in ski out. The bottom of Le Croisiette is 400m down the slopes. There is a nice snowy footpath to walk into town which takes around 10mins with the normal amenities. 5 mins uphill is Bruyères and Reberty which has a small supermarket and a couple of restaurants. On the slopes directly opposite the apartment is restaurant/bar that became our go to at the end of each day. The apartment is spacious, it has underground parking that was perfect especially with the amount of snow we had. (Access is a snowy road so have winter tyres). Three bedrooms, with super comfy beds, linen can be hired from the agents M2000 if required. We took our own. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you will need. Yves was on hand with any problems. The dishwasher broke on day 1. Someone came straight out to look at it and replaced it a couple of days later. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment. We will definitely be returning. Our only negative would be the lack of wifi. It’s a shared network with the building and is temperamental to say the least. Wasn’t a big problem as we had phone data but would have been good for Netflix etc if it had of worked. You are up a mountain so it’s not unusual. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Yves. 👊"

"Very nice apartment perfect size for my son and I for a week ski trip. I think you could fit 3 or 4 but 2 seems like the ideal number given the size. Located in Preyerand section of Les menuires, there is a free gondola to la croisette/the main village every couple minutes and is about 2 minutes walk. Small super market and ski rental also 3 minute walk and La Ruade and le petit ogre (takeout burgers and pizza) 1 minute walk. You can ski down to the bettex lift and ride it to just above the main Les Menuires village or we preffered just taking the pedestrian gondola up and walking over to the Roc 1 or Menuires lifts. Has all the necessities, Nespresso machine, kettle, cookware, dishes,, hair dryer. Ski locker very good. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Advice for those booking: 1. Hotel name does not match the listing here. It is “Balambra Hotel Les Menuries” 2. The “Les Bruyeres” bus stop is right outside so really easy for accessing other parts of Les menuries if you’d like to by bus or if an airport transfer drops you off at the Gare routière. Review: This hotel was a great place for my first time in Les Menuries. I was nervous going as an American but I was able to do everything I wanted despite not knowing really much French at all. The ski room to keep you gear was easy to use and get ready for the day. Access to the slopes was quick and easy. A handful of great restaurants around the corner and a super market right next door. I would definitely book again. "
