"This is the second time we have stayed at Master Builders Hotel and it was just as good as the first. This time our room was on the second floor facing across the Beaulieu river with views through all three windows. As it is an old building be prepared for squeaky floor boards and some sound which may come through the interior walls. The food in the restaurant is pricey but is decent quality which is worth the money. The menu does cater for various tastes and wallets. The walk along the river to Beaulieu is thoroughly recommended as is a trip to Beaulieu motor museum."

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."

"This is a lovely old cottage with lots of character. Two minutes walk from the esplanade, and an easy walk into Cowes. Dan was an outstanding host who looked after us very well 😁 Would highly recommend if visiting the Isle of Wight. Spacious bedroom with private facilities, even a log fire for those chilly evenings."

"Lovely apartment, with fully equipped kitchen and large, bright and stylish TV lounge. Literally a couple of minutes walk from the West Cowes ferry terminal, with a great choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep.The apartment is at the rear of the property, so no street noise. If you intend to discover the island using public transport, the bus terminal is only a 5 minute walk away, situated next to the M&S food hall. Super friendly and helpful owner and manager. Hope to stay again."

"The house was beautifully decorated and furnished and clean with everything you need plus a hot tub which was prepared for us (and a second hot tub in the annex). The annex lets you split the property from the main part of the house as it has its own bedroom, living room/kitchen and small garden. The main house has a huge living room/dining room. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite) and two further bathrooms downstairs (one with a shower which can be used either by the main house of the annex). The location was excellent for our purpose which was to relax and walk to the beach. It is a little remote which we knew but perfect for tranquility. There are two cafes near the beach but the kitchen at the house had everything you need to prepare food at home. We had a little trouble getting in as the lock didn't work but the agent was very quick to respond, help us access the property with a key from an emergency key safe and then sent someone to look at the problem within 40 minutes. That is pretty good. "

"Plus points , within walking distance of the ferry lots of shops, bars, restaurants et cetera. Food in the bar a bit hit and miss but some stuff very nice. Quite fairly priced, clean good quality towels, even though I would say any at level cleanliness is a must and a basic., missing at this property. Negative points, very tired and dirty decor, lots of narrow steep flights of stairs, no wardrobe, no offer of help to carry bags up the flights of stairs when shown to you're room ,even though it was a very young gentleman and we are older ladies, the young female member of staff in the bar was very rude and intolerant, tiny room I've bruises all of my thighs trying to get in and out of the bed. I had to wipe out the drawers before we could put our clothes in. "
