The unit itself is located at the top of the hill in a quiet neighborhood. It's about a 20 minute drive from anything you want to do in San Diego. A trolly stop is nearby, easy walking distance. The unit was very clean! It was spacious for two of us, but it would be a tight fit for four people I think. It was well supplied with all the things we needed and they were clean. The reason I give this four instead of five stars is that it is directly connected to their house and the walls are thin so the neighbor noise comes through. It was clean (spotless!), quiet (I woke to birdsong on the first morning), safe, and comfortable. There were three adults staying there. I slept on the pull out couch and it was surprisingly comfortable ! I'd sleep there again. The shower was hot and nice. The space was friendly and inviting. The place is about 25 minutes from the airport. It is about 20 minutes from SDSU (as I drove!).
