Problems at check in . Premier Heritage is anything but Premierand misleading as though the hotel was trying to deceive you. Shd be categorized as Low, Medium, High so you know. Insistence paid off with an upgrade at the end. That improved my stay

Great stay
Excellent location, nice architecture of the building, well thought of interior design. Well equipped rooms and toilets with abundant accessories. We were not required to demand any thing . The staff is well trained and which they exhibit in their behaviour. Himaunshu was taking great care of us in the dining hall.The food preparation is delicious. A big dining hall with Mountain View. We thoroughly enjoyed this . Our suggestion is for seniors a mini meal dish can be thought of . This will be good for their health as well as their pocket. On the day of check out we had hired a taxi of the hotel . Laxsha one of the staff member saw to it that there is sufficient drinking water , cookies etc in the vehicle . This generated lot of confidence in our mind for our further destination to Nubra . Overall wonderful experience.

We had an amazing stay at the Grand Dragon. Check in and check out were seamless, we enjoyed the kahwa welcome tea. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast restaurant had lots of Indian and Western food options. The staff were friendly and professional. I need to give a special shout out to Gagan who waited on us for breakfast and dinner. I was sick with food poisoning and altitude sickness, he noticed I was skipping meals so he would deliver lemon, honey, ginger tea to my room as well as fruits for me to eat. That kind of service was so special and really helped my recovery. Overall we had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend them to any traveller in Leh.

Wonderful views. Very calming to see the mountains while laid low by altitude sickness. Outdoor patio lovely. Luxurious decor, courteous staff. Lunch and dinner was average. Breakfast was the best meal!

The service was unprofessional. We had an early flight back to Delhi and a packed breakfast was promised to be ready for us. No breakfast was ready in the morning and we almost missed a flight when some unprofessional receptionist tried to wake up kitchen staff to pack a banana and a pastry. In the end we left with nothing. For the rates the hotel charge per night it is very a poor establishment in terms of service.

The staff was great. Food was just ok. Not quite what I would consider a 5 star hotel, but it was definitely the best option so it seemed in Leh and I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel in a good location with great views of snow capped mountains. Very spacious lobby with multiple seating locations. The rooms are beautiful, I stayed at a luxury mountain suite , it’s done up excellent with a spacious living room and balcony. The food is tasty in the restaurant and has an outdoor seating , has a garden lounge with covered cabana’s at the ground level. Most important the staff were very courteous and welcoming, with good service quality. My special thanks to Mr Abdul, how organised our permits and travel arrangements for our 6 days visit to Ladakh and was always available for any service that was required. I would highly recommend this place , with all my experience of travelling to over 125 countries and having stayed at the best of the properties globally.

Our flight was cancelled and the staff assisted in reorganizing our flights assisting with translating and organised a beautiful night around a bonfire. Staff here are friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend

The best and most luxurious hotel in Leh
Our group has the best time staying at this hotel! From the moment we arrived they had welcomed us and taken good care of us like a family with genuine Ladakhi hospitality! As expected for people flying to Leh straight from sea level country like ours, some members of our group experienced high attitude sickness. The staffs at the hotel had provided us with oxygen tank setting up in the room right away! They also provided complimentary rice soup for people who were sicked and tired ! They made sure we're all well rested and acclaimatized before we started our journey exploring Leh and Ladakh! The room was very spacious with beautiful view of Ladakh range! It's quite an experience to watch the mountain early in the morning or at sunset! The hotel was nicely decorated with Ladakhi theme and architecture. From the hotel, it'a 5 min car ride to the city center. The breakfast was really good in terms of food choices and best service from the restaurant staffs! It's the best the hotel you can find in Leh for luxury, tradition and comfort!

It was a good and comfortable stay. Grand dragon is one of the best hotels in leh. Staff is good and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also good. Somehow seemed the same everyday. Ordered IRD one day and food and service were good. Lawns are good offering a good view. Hotel planned the itinerary for us and we managed to see most of the sights, monasteries, pangong lake etc in a short trip. Also, it is very close to the airport and walking distance from leh market. Overseas a good stay.

Fabulous hotel, friendly staff, great location. Excellent buffet and a la carte restaurants, no alcoholic beverages. Beautiful view of the mountains. Well located. Efficient staff and secure gated location, not that Leh seems at all "dangerous".

We visited Leh in December - it was a great time to visit, with low tourist density. The hotel was very comfortable with all amenities available. WiFi is very poor and internet connectivity can frequently go down

Still the best place in leh
Really enjoyed staying here and it was my second time in Leh. Shame the hotel are converting the outside area into a restaurant, so a lot of banging and ordered veg club sandwich but sent meal sandwiches. But service was great like always and management was brilliant :)

A decent International standard 4 star hotel with comfort and good condition room. I believe it is the best hotel in Leh. Room, breakfast, service is all good. It definitely meet the 4 star standard. I think it is a very safe choice for the stay in Leh, if you're looking for a comfort stay.

Cozy Stay in a Perfect Location
The hotel is really centrally located and within easy walking distance to the town center where the markets are. From the market you can head to Leh Palace and the Monastery above the palace. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating, room comfortable, large and clean and the property has an overall lodge feel which is awesome in a cold climate like Leh. The food at the hotel is good and overall very reasonably priced as well. All in all it was a great stay and the folks at Grand Dragon made the experience really great.

Hotel with good facilities and comfortable stay
It is the only hotel having heating system whereas other hotels were closed as winter is approaching. The hotel is centrally located with good restaurent facilities and tour packages. Internet service was interrupted from time to time which is beyond control of hotel administration. Although airport transfer was mentioned free when I booked but they were asking charges for hotel to airport transfer. I could not show condition for airport transfer as internet was not working but they waived it.

Top of the world hotel
The hotel is really an oasis in Leh. The staff was very responsive and the travel advisor would go out of the way to accommodate our requests. The view from the room was spectacular, the beds very comfortable (in fact the best additional bed I have ever used), internet fast and easy to use, and very good showers!! The food could use a little sprucing up and maybe the hot water for tea could be boiled in a pressure cooker to keep it warmer longer.

Excellent service and in house dining!
Hotel was full house but still able to afford excellent service. Rooms a bit worn but everything was functional. Wifi was out due to floods in the region but the room service compensates it all. Best food we had in India!

DECENT CHOICE OF A HOTEL ON OUR FIRST TRIP TO LEH,
AS WE USED TO HAVE AL-CARTE FOR THE REST OF OUR MEALS, WE WERE NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THE EARLY MORNING BREAKFAST AT ALL. FRESH JUICES WERE MISSING, AND ABOVE ALL BREAKFAST DISHES FOR THE VEGETARIANS WERE NOT AUTHENTIC AT ALL. COMBINATIONS OF THE ITEMS WERE VERY POOR AND THE SERVICE IN THE EARLY HOURS WAS VERY SLOW. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT BUT A SUGGESTION TO PUMP UP THE WEAK AREAS.

Mountain air
Great location with mountain views and I felt that the staff really cared about your comfort. It was easy to organise taxis for local and other trips around Ladakh. Restaurant was good, I used a la Carte, but, there was usually buffet if you could eat a lot!!. One of the best holidays I've had. I will go back in a shot!
