"Valerie is a wonderful host, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property is what we expected and the photographs accurately represent this wonderful house. We were there for 2 weeks in June and would have happily stayed on longer. The property is ideally suited to take advantage of the local amenities: The Boulangerie, food shops, pharmacy, gift shops and the traditional oyster restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The property is extremely comfortable and everything we could have wanted, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge and dining area are a good size. There is also an outside dining area which has fantastic views over the Arcachon Bassin, a great place to gather and relax. The pool is a good size and gets a lot of sun and was well used by us. There is a lovely homely feel and we always looked forward to returning from our local adventures. We also hired bikes and took advantage of the cycle paths which are only a few minutes away. We really loved this place and can’t wait to return. Can not recommend it more highly. 5 stars from us. Jane/David & Friends."

"Small boutique hotel that couldn’t be better located in Cap Ferret. The rooms are small but nice. The one thing I will note is that I booked on hotels.com and when I checked in, the lady handling the check-in mentioned breakfast was available in the restaurant off the lobby. I enquired if she was sure breakfast was included and she said yes. I had paid €400 per night so assumed she was correct. On checkout, the same lady said it hadn’t been included so ended up paying €50 for two breakfasts that weren’t remotely worth that spend. Could have eaten at the lovely bakery across the street for a fraction. When I reminded her it was her who confirmed breakfast was included, she agreed she had, didn’t apologise and charged me anyway. Wrote to the hotel expressing my disappointment and they didn’t even have the courtesy to respond (been 4days.) "

"This is a perfect little cabin in the woods. Well appointed kitchen, comfy sitting room and dining table, double bed, outside seating area and large shower room. The owner of the property was very helpful too (and on site for any questions). The tv didn’t work but that was because of a storm and the owner tried to fix it (no harm done). The one thing I would recommend to the owner is some mosquito screens on the windows so that you could open them and let some air in without being attacked."

"Lovely little apartment, nice pool and friend staff. Location is a bit further than we had hoped to cycle to the beaches but still beautiful setting. Restaurant nice but a bit expensive for quality. "
